With Ron C and Frank V taking over GH, do you think they will try to tie up some loose ends from OLTL on GH? We know they at least will be dealing with the Todd story, but what about others? I think one of the more obvious ones is the plot about David's long lost child they revealed. I think its too perfect that Alexis never has revealed who the identity of Sam's birth father is. What if she hooked up with David when she was younger? It doesnt even require that he come on GH. Alexis could see a trailer for David's movie on tv or see his picture on the front page to the paper and she'd get a weird look on her face which would hint of her having a past with him. Maybe they could even have flashbacks of the two as teens and she finally telling Sam that her father is David Vickers-Buchanan

There's also Cutter and Kim. He's in jail but we know he was gonna get out somehow considering he was signed on for OLTL online. What if he gets a release and decides to come to PC for his next mark? I can see him trying to romance a lonely Monica out of her Q millions and Tracy out to take him down and call Monica on her foolishness. Cutter could find out about her Soleito secrets and use that to blackmail her into marriage instead! On the flipside, they could bring Kim on instead to try and land a wealthy bachelor. Jax seems like a very obvious choice and she would do battle with Carly who gets jealous and tries to keep Kim out of Jax and Jocelyn's lives

What do people think? Are there any other loose ends you can see them trying to handle over on GH?

Sam would work as David's child. She would be Bo's granddaughter. There's so much opportunity there.

I like that idea. Sam as a long lost Buchanan.

Maybe bring David on for a few days to a week just so Sam can meet her dad.

Could you imagine David and Jason together. It would be worse than Spin and Jason. He would probably drive the Borg crazy. LOL.

For me that would be weird as Tuc was already on GH years ago, so being Sam's father would be out of whack. He's Pierce Dorman a doctor who banged Monica. Also Tuc is not even 10 years older than Kelly---he's like 40, so he is much younger than NLG. (Yes that shouldn't be an issue, but for me it is...) Then again perhaps my issue with who is Sam's father comes from the fact that I created a fanwank that Alexis who acted older got herself pregnant by a man who believed she was in college, and not high school.

Tuc is 45 and NLG is 53. The character of Alexis is younger than she is anyway, haven been deaged twice, once when they brought on Kristina as her sister and again when Sam was revealed as her daughter. Sam was 26 back in 2006 so she should be turning 32 this year. Alexis was 16 when she gave birth, making her 48 this year. The age range with David is close enough that it could work. As for him playing Dorman...that was 15 years ago and the person he had the most history with was Monica. A few episodes (like 2 or 3) stint would have him interacting with Sam, Alexis and maybe Jason at the most. Besides the show has done more complex switcheroos in recent history like Sarah Brown as Claudia for 2 years after famously playing Carly.

I could see Alexis telling Sam the truth and both heading out to LA on the set of his next movie to tell him the truth. How cool would it be if Susan Lucci did a cameo as Erica Kane and David just happens to be her co star in the movie about her life? David Vickers could be playing David Hayward in the film...lol.She could then tell us the outcome of what happened after the gun was shot on AMC

Cutter/Monica/Tracy sounds really good.

Other than Todd/Victor I honestly have no interest in seeing anything else continue. None of the others would really fit on GH.

I think the actors who played Brody and Cutter would have been good recast candidates for both AMC's J.R. and GH's Dillon, but since we're still in the same universe here, and AMC is no longer a go...

Some fans feel very strongly about Erica not appearing on any other soap than AMC, and I may feel differently about this even five minutes from now, but for the moment I tend to agree. I know it may sound irrational, but I think it sort of cheapens her, not that AMC was never guilty of that, and turns her more into a commodity and less of a "human being". Back in the nineties, I did used to fantasize about a primetime spinoff, The Kanes, however.

I would love for Cutter to get caught up with Tracy and Monica. That sounds great and it would really save Monica as a character. I was dying for her to come back but haven't enjoyed her scenes since she learned Jake died.

I can't stand David but with RC writing, I am sure he will soon come to PC.

Erica, her kids and an entirely new setting. It would be very affordable and has a good chance of doing well on Friday nights.

I keep brain farting the way I kept doing when AMC first moved to L.A., the idea that these shows now take place in L.A., which would of course be conducive to Starr and David's storylines.

If any soap character/actress could pull it off it would be Erica/Susan. Especially if they had the right blend of humor, glamor, and family drama... Dynasty meets Brothers and Sisters meets Ugly Betty meets Desperate Housewives... you're right, fun Friday night kind of show and they'd pull in some amazing guest stars, and even have John O'Hurley as a series regular.

The more I think about this the more it makes some kind of weird sense and I'd love to see it. Can't see it happening, but... Even a Summer series or something.

I know I shouldn't be shocked by anything RC/FV or ABC does, but I really can't see them tieing up other stories (too bad as I'm on pins and needles about what happens to Jack and Neela ) I assume that Alex did bust Cutter out of jail, Vicki and Clint got married, etc... I admit, if by some miracle GH lasts into 2013 I wouldn't put it past RC to try to bring back some of his other faves like David, but I can't imagine anything soon.

What about Cord and Tina showing up on GH to play into Todd's storyline. AE and JL both live in Los Angeles area. Perhaps Cord and Tina could end up moving to Port Charles to start a new life away from Llanview.
