Oooo... something ala Madame Muereau from Sunset Beach. I'd be down.

I want to see her tarot cards too. I hope this is a sign that M&D will start to write more Reilly-isms instead of shying away from them.

I adore Celeste. I agree, these writers definitely need to bring out the Reilly-isms. When I heard these writers worked under JER at Passions, I was so excited for Days for the first time in about 8 years. I thought I was finally getting my show back! Alas, these writers are no Jim Reilly. They are BORING.

I think Hapka burned his bridges with DAYS - you could say Bryan Datillo did too, but Lucas has a lot more family on canvas, and Datillo wanted to come back. I'm not sure Hapka does.

If Dattilo can come back, Hapka can too. Dare to dream, I say.

On a more serious note, I hope Tanya makes a full recovery. Hopefully they caught it in time before it did much damage.

Poor Tanya. Hope it was a mild stroke and that she is recovering. All the best to her!

SO sad. Just when we were finally getting her back too. Such a shame.

Honestly, if Boyd is too sick to play Celeste, I'd rather the show scrap her story than recast. JMO.

I agree, though I am anxious to see who they choose.

A mere week after DAYS announced that Tanya Boyd would be returning to the role of Celeste, a casting call was put out for the character. Despite Internet reports of health problems, a show spokesperson says, "Reports are incorrect. We were unable to move forward with Tanya due to scheduling conflicts." The show is now seeking a "65-75-year-old gorgeous African American female... She comes back to Salem to be with her family and help keep them safe.... Please submit very strong established name actors who can really dive into this material and make it their own." The recurring role is set to begin 1/17 for a 7-10 episode arc.
