Speaking of Joan, there was an episode way back when when Erica ran into Joan Rivers in NYC. They were buddy buddy as heck, Joan invited Erica for a day of shopping and movies at her house. LOL

With the character of Coral, she was notable enough to be included in the Waggett Soap Opera Encyclopedia. It said she was on AMC from 1987-1995 and played by someone named Mary Kane. In those times, she was on regularly (or regularly enough as I only saw AMC when school was closed).

Thanks SFK, for a clearer explanation about what you meant about saying the name Coral. I tend to clip words, especially short ones, though I had speech therapy for five years as a child. I am somewhat particular about pronouncing words from that experience, but I have never done acting elocution.

Mary Kane also played Betsy on ATWT when Betsy was bandaged in a hospital bed.

Erica told David once that Coral had a big crush on him. They totally should have vamped Coral up and had her go after one of Erica's men. LOL

Coral looks so young there. LOL. I always pictured her as a fat, older woman. ha

Oh, I see, this is when Erica lived in her "dream house", the one that burned down. That's where David played the piano for her and where she had the 19 dozen pink roses delivered to her when Susan won the Emmy.
