IIRC, Alex was a government agent. However, I think we're supposed to "ignore" that, since Alex didn't take off as a character until they turned her into a Bo-obsessed wacko.

It's nice that Kelly finally has chemistry with one of his leading ladies, but I don't know the point of this story. Clearly she's going to end up with Rex again, and having a tiny bit of chemistry with one of her leading men never did a lot for her character anyway (see Sky). I just wonder how he will escape going crazy and taking hostages. Maybe if you try to take advantage of mentally ill women, you get a pass.

I think Cutter is supposed to run into Alex at Stacy/Gigi's plastic surgeon's office. Maybe it just a way to tie Kim & Cutter into the Llanview community?

But why do they need to be tied in? Does it impact any story? I would think it would have been more interesting to do this when Kim was around a few years ago. Imagine Clint's reaction if he was going to marry Kim and then learned Alex would be his mother in law.

Confirmed: Alex is Cutter and Kim's mom. The dad is a nobody but the story was sad haha.

I think Nigel just has good gut instincts and he sensed that something wasn't quite right about the way Brody was acting. He also knows the man has a history of not being wrapped too tight, particularly with his "children", I dunno, I bought Nigel's .

I'm still waiting for him to tell us how David is still evil and tried to kill Renee as an infant.
