This picture says why LA had to go better than anyone ever could. If she looks the same as a 12 year old then automatically she is not qualified to portray an adult in adult situations. The only way around this would be if the story was a fantasy type tale about an adult who never grows old or an Afterschool Special type story about a child who doesn't fit in. She can't play romance because the moment her male co-star moves in for a kiss the whole thing will take on a To Catch A Predator vibe.

It is no secret how much I love Lexi, and how talented I think she is. It will also come as no surprise that I am sad about her leaving... and yes, tears were shed.

Very often things out of our control turn out to be the most perfect orchestration of circumstances that lead to even better experiences, that shape our lives in profound ways. As much as I will miss Lexi, I believe this will end up being a blessing for her. At 19, there are endless acting opportunities, and now she is free to pursue them. My TV baby is a beautiful, classy young woman with a fantastically, supportive family, and a bright, bright future. I'm so excited for her.

I had not realized that she had been fired. She is young and has that Hollywood starlet look so she has a chance to break out. Better she do it now than waste another two or three years on GH.

It isn't true. I have no proof, but it makes sense it isn't true. GH has no history of hiring strippers and non-actresses in major roles. Zero. And this girl looks like a fantasy figure for every Lexie Ainsworth fan seeking a reason to feel begrudged and aggrieved so it is easier to blame her firing on everything but the obvious truth. "Lexie was fired because Frons wants T&A to jerk off to. "Lexie was fired because she doesn't look like she could be in porn. All the talented actresses get fired and this show deserves to be canceled" Blah Blah Blah. She wasn't fired so Jenna Jameson could play Kristina, she was fired so who ever acts opposite Kristina doesn't look like a football coach at Penn State who accidentally wandered into the girl's locker room.
