While I liked the Sonny and Will stuff today, I get the "after school special" vibe a bit too. The website comments didn't seem all that hurtful to me. Same issue I had with the T bullying arc, he never used any hurtful words towards Sonny, like faggot, which a real bully would have used. If DAYS doesn't want to (or can't due to censors) there are ways to allude to it. Making them so "g-rated" is taking out the "punch" that this story really needs. Turn the nob just a little bit DAYS.

Tomlin's cut-to-black is back. For the past 2.5 months, they mostly had fade-to-blacks which a couple of cut-to-blacks here and there. But now it seems like the majority of scenes ends with the cut-to-black. Come on, Maxam! Why did you bring those back?

And I know people don't like Muldoon(I never saw his original run as Austin) but he seems to have found his groove again, and I'm seeing way more spark in their romantic scenes than I ever did with the doofus Peck played. Honestly I thought Peck only had chemistry with Ari, but that's only because the woman can spark with a damn with martini glass.

Because I remember a time when Sami was listening to a balcony above Carrie and Mike Horton because she was determined to make it look like Carrie and Mike had a thing for each other in order to land Austin. Plus, during the atrocious Salem stalker storyline, wasn't there a character that was wanting to jump off Marlena's highrise balcony?

I guess what I'm trying to say is ... how can someone throw a rock through a window with a message attached: "DIE THIEF!!!!" when Marlena lives in a highrise?

This is how the writing for Jennifer always goes once Jack is on the canvas. I've said it once, I'll say it a million times, Jack is a horrific albatross and makes Melissa Reeves unwatchable. And it's not the writers, unless every writer since Reilly has found a way to make Jack annoying as all hell.

I LOVED Peck with Arianne Zuker...I could never see Muldoon and Zuker, it would just seem so...wrong. Maybe it's the dermatologist in me...but damn Muldoon needs a thorough lasering across that sun damaged mug of his. And a new hairstyle. And some lessons to drop that drag queen voice of his.

My question is: are you we the audience meant to think this is Marlena's penthouse (ie the yellow one with the staircase, one of the most glamorous sets in daytime) or a new apartment that John and Marlena moved into?

Tuned in to see Renee Jones and was subjected to the most ridiculous, juvenile interactions between Jennifer, Jack and Daniel. We're talking about a GROWN ASS woman who doesn't know who she wants to be with so she decides to date both men who are 40+ and like jack asses they agree. These ingrates were actually talking about maintaining a system while they talked about who was getting to date her on different days. Jack and Jennifer always, and I do mean always, have the same storyline upon Ashford's returns. Jennifer is involved with someone else and he has to prove himself worthy of her love. Jennifer waffles between both men till she finally choose Jack while he acts like a buffoon. Rinse, cycle, repeat.

John calling Abe-less Abraham is always gold. Remembered when these two couples were best friends back in the day and brought back so much nostalgia.

I'm not interested in Maggie's eggs or anything to do with her ovaries and Nicole looked overly tanned.

Sigh... I want to be optimistic about this show but this drivel is making it tough.
