Looking forward to these. I hope the AMC finale pulled in high numbers.

I hope Toups has the numbers today. Really interested in seeing numbers for the finale. Prediction: 3.5 million.

Since my memory is shameful does anyone remember how GL did it's final week? I know the last episode spiked but what about the entire week?

I'll be very interested in how The Spew does in it's first week. Is it possible to get their ratings too, Toups?

Random question: Has One Life to Live ever been No. 1 in the ratings, even for just one week? It seems every long-time soap-- except B&B-- has held the No. 1 spot at least once during its lifespan.

The closest they probably came was in the mid 1980's, when GH was still #1, AMC had slipped a bit, and right before Y&R took over. I am going to guess probably not and the closest they ever came was #2, but I am no expert on that.

They were #1 for one week that I know of. The week that the Faux Bo story concluded in August 1988 (they tied Y&R that week).

Did anyone else here ever subscribe to a weekly mail order soap newsletter called "Soap Opera NOW"? It was from the late 80's and it was actually quite a fun little rag. Anyway, they included the weekly Neilsen ratings. It was the only place back in the day you could get the weekly ratings until Soap Opera Weekly came along.

I remember seeing it #1 before. It was in the late 80's around 87/88.
