Dumbest one night stands

Billy/Sharon was another I still don't get, other than someone thinking a three-way WTD story was going to bring in viewers, or who wanted Jack to be cuckolded, yet again.

You can add Victoria/JT, Neil/Sofia, Paul/Nina, Ronan/Chloe, Colleen/Adrian, Billy/Lily, Gloria/Alistair, Abby/Daniel & Cane/Amber.

Josh/Greenlee made no sense, for that matter as did Josh/Hannah both from AMC.

They seemed to do Josh/Greenlee just to remind us again how wonderful Greenlee was for that big "Oops you aren't supposed to hate her she's the REAL GREENLEE now," story.

Was there any reason Hannah was with Sean?

. Same goes with the Holden/Carly crapola that same summer.

BINGO. I never, ever felt the same way about Holden again. Not only did I hate Holden, I hated Martha Byrne for leaving, because that never would have happened had her Lily still been in town. I knew Passanante was a creative hack, but that story should have gotten her kicked out of the writer's guild. The only funny thing about it was reading JH's interviews trying to embrace the "revitalization" of Holden.

...and I'll add - I never bought for a moment that Holden would ever befriend Carly let alone sleep with her. He never respected her and just weeks prior to this contrivance, was complaining about Lily going into business with Carly. To me, this is an 'on paper' idea that is laughable (and was not ever meant to last beyond the 2 months that it did)......plus, the non-existant fallout. How on earth does Jack barely get mad at Holden?!?!?

Martha Byrne left, they recast the role immediately and they NEEDED to have Noelle Beck succeed. How do we make the audience feel sympathy for the unsympathetic Lily pining for her dead first boyfriend who didn't love her? Have her husband sleep with her 'best' friend. And the summer of Colden was thrust upon us. Plus, kinda nice for Beck that she got to work with West who ALWAYS lifts those around her.

lol...not that I've given it any thought or anything!

I never bought the Tom/Emily one night stand. Yes, Emily was attractive (when she wasn't speaking) but Tom had, from what I remember, never cheated (maybe he cheated on Maggie? I don't know, I haven't seen any of that time), and had always avoided adultery while married to Margo. A few months of pressures with Eddie Man and he has sex with Emily?

That story did horrible damage to everyone involved.

Ridge/Morgan on B&B.

The story itself might not have been so bad, but they made Ridge even more stupid than he usually is for it to work. Were we really supposed to buy that Ridge could believe that Taylor would give him permission to sleep with, and impregnate, Morgan on the basis of just an e-mail??!!

I know Ridge isn't the brightest of men on the best of days, but that was just cringeworthy!
