"Unfortunately, there was a scheduling conflict with The Hunger Games, which is filming in North Carolina," the actress tells Digest (she plays Glimmer in the hotly anticipated film adaptation of the blockbuster books).”Sad, sad, sad! But I'm pleased that I was able to take part in the 45th anniversary show last year."

August 29, 201114 yr Member Scheduling conflict to me is code for "Prospect Park nixed it".....not that I really care either way.

August 29, 201114 yr Member Lily is alive so of course she can't return. It sucks even more when you put it that way. But the girl's got a job and we can't blame her for putting that job first.
August 29, 201114 yr Member Her return would have been a disappointment anyways, as they all have been (except Kate Collins).
August 29, 201114 yr Member Considering the only interesting thing Lily had to do ended somewhere around 2004 I don't know if it would have been much worse.
August 29, 201114 yr Member Her return would have been a disappointment anyways, as they all have been (except Kate Collins). They weren't all a disappointment to me. I liked Janet but I also loved Annie. Marian's was good too even though it was left hanging and IMO Leo's return was absolutely perfect. I also enjoyed seeing Natalia again. Frankly the only bad returns for me have been Dixie and Zach and that's because they are part of a bad science fiction plot. I think Lily would've been just fine. All they needed to do was put her in scenes with Jack, just like Janet only really needed to be in scenes with Amanda.
August 29, 201114 yr Member Lily is alive so of course she can't return. That really is a sad albeit accurate sentiment about the current direction of AMC. Broderick could have quickly rectified this, drop in a quick scene where we learn Lily drowned.
