Members DRW50
I imagine if not for the complaints or general negativity surrounding the show at the time they would have gone further into an actual affair. I guess the fallout would be Monica/Dorman (Tony and Bobbie's marriage was already dead so I don't think this is why he slept with Carly). They were already in counseling at this point, right? (Tony and Bobbie) @FrenchFan Thank you again for the wonderful recaps. I wonder if anyone ever said the stories the show would have had for Augusta if she had stayed on as originally planned. Members FrenchFan
I had no idea for Augusta but I would have loved to see the character on screen at the time for sure.
Members Vee
I think so. Though I don't think Tony and Bobbie's marriage was dead in '95 or even early '96 from what I've been revisiting. They were really trying off and on and at least fitfully devoted from what I saw, but she almost sleeps with Alan and then other things kept on happening. Including Carly.
Members DRW50
I know they were still trying...I always just assume after BJ died it was inevitable.
Members MissPalmer
Rare 1963 GH episode! Unknown date! https://www.facebook.com/61562873881039/videos/315570484967988/
Members DRW50
Thanks! I just looked on Youtube and a channel mentions this as January 1963. Someone in the comments said the date is accurate because it was the pilot. Does anyone know for sure? @Paul Raven @Vee @BetterForgotten @dc11786 @slick jones @vetsoapfan @FrenchFan @jam6242 Edited July 18, 2024 by DRW50
Members MissPalmer
It is impossible to be the pilot, because Angie appears in a better shape than in episode 1 and she meets Cynthia, but I am not sure Edited July 18, 2024 by MissPalmer
Members DRW50
Thanks. So it definitely wasn't the pilot.

Members Bright Eyes
Kind of impossible for it to be January 1963 when the show hadn't even debuted yet.
Members vetsoapfan
I appreciate the viewable link, @DRW50! Between this the ep of The Brighter Day you've told me about, I'll have a vintage-soap weekend! Gracias!
Members DRW50
I know there is more GH out there than other soaps of this era but still any time I see something new it's a surprise and a treat. We certainly need those these days. Thanks again to @MissPalmer for alerting us.
