Still such a shame it didn't work out to have Karen/Jagger back for Stone's death.  I don't find many flaws with that death and how it was portrayed, but it did seem glaring that Stone had no family present, especially since he was close to Jagger/Karen.  Sonny even made a point to wonder where his family was when Stone was dying, but I don't remember an actual excuse as to why Jagger/Karen in particular weren't there.

Now, wait just a cotton picking minute! Did Brenda know where they were going? Who takes a 16 yr old to a strip club?! Or did no one know that Karen was stripping? Family, is Karen siblings with Gina & Stone?

Stone and Gina are Jagger’s siblings, who was in love with Karen.  Karen turned out to be Scotty’s daughter (the most wasted reveal ever).

And they were following Karen who had been acting erratically, having recovered past memories of abuse, which led to her ending up in Sonny’s orbit, dancing and doing drugs.

Like @titan1978 said, Brenda and Robin were following Karen to be nosey.  They had no idea it was going to be a strip club.  If it makes you feel better, only Brenda was let in.  Robin looked too young.  It's also the first time Brenda sees Sonny.
