Frons wanted his new get, GT, to get either Todd or John. FL had to be backburned to try and give Todd/Kelly a real shot. Even GT admitted that yeah Todd/Kelly was a mistake and the fans were pissed off. The ratings tanked badly that spring with Sierra Rose nonsense and Kelly/Todd/Melinda crap dominating. The cancer story came later in May. Any "idiot' should remember the Teens/Fords mainly dominated OLTL's airtime last summer. The Eli stuff dominated late summer into fall. I spelled it out twice already, Vee. TnT are being trashed to prop up T&B. That's why TnT was trashed in 2002, too. They got RH back and were done with TSJ.
