Yeah, she was backburnered for like two months as they reshuffled and re-plotted half the show amidst a slew of firings. Then they launched the giant cancer/Eli/etc story which ate the show for most of the rest of the year, and Tea was all over that. She was not exactly hurting for story last year or the year before. I frankly welcomed the brief respite from Todd and Tea's endless love after the saga of Ross the kayak destroyer and why poor Dani should come to love her re-rapin' (or so we thought) dad.

Actually, FL had TWO breaks last year.

The first was written/taped months BEFORE before the March firings. Frons wanted his new get, GT, to get either Todd or John. FL had to be backburned to try and give Todd/Kelly a real shot. Even GT admitted that yeah Todd/Kelly was a mistake and the fans were pissed off. The ratings tanked badly that spring with Sierra Rose nonsense and Kelly/Todd/Melinda crap dominating. The cancer story came later in May.

Any "idiot' should remember the Teens/Fords mainly dominated OLTL's airtime last summer. The Eli stuff dominated late summer into fall.

As for why this story is happening, Eric, you say you don't see it as RC hating TNT but you also don't say what you see it as instead, or why OLTL is trashing them.

I spelled it out twice already, Vee. TnT are being trashed to prop up T&B. That's why TnT was trashed in 2002, too.

What other reason is there for Ron Carlivati to write this storyline in which TSJ becomes Victor Lord, Todd's twin brother who was intended to remain on the canvas?

They got RH back and were done with TSJ. This twin stuff writing him special needs is very clear the little interest RC had in building and continuing with this character.

What always made me wonder about the FL rumors is that at this exact same time, Vincent Irizarry was off AMC, there were the rumors, and David was presumed dead. Then, around the same time, both characters came back. It seemed like a last ditch publicity/ratings stunt by ABC.
