i thought hillary b. smith was absolutely AWFUL today.

about the only good thing i got out of her performance is that it covered up how dismal the actress who plays destiny is. smith was way way WAY over-the-top to the point of being cringeworthy, and i didn't find a second of believability in it.

and i hate to repeat myself, but GOD, the girl playing destiny REEKS of "can't act her way out of middle school."

Whenever someone's about to have an abortion it is always super realistic with the father rushing to the abortion clinic as the hero JUST IN TIME in dramatic slow motion to stop the evil woman from having an abortion, even if said father is an unwed teenager. Like I said, super realistic.

And it's not just soaps, movies too, Juno was like the most anti-choice movie I've ever seen my God!

Love the sarcasm. I completely agree. It's not realistic all. IRL, if Destiny chose to have an abortion, it would a done deal. It's a soap though and we know that it's not going to happen.

Todd was raised by Irene's brother Peter. She came on the show as Irene Clayton, her married name. Im not sure if her maiden name was revealed to be Manning back then or if that was added in the 90s when they did the Todd story

Actually Irene and Peter are cousins and Irene's maiden name is Manning. Irene was going by her maiden name when she was on the show in the 70s as she had already gotten done with Ted Clayton. She led her daughter, Tina, to believe that Ted was her father and Tina went by the last name of Clayton till she found out her real father was Victor

Thanks for the clarification on the DNA, StevieM and Cheap. You're right; the Two Todds cannot have identical DNA if they were to come from different fathers. Which suggests (to me, anyway) they're both Victor's kids and that Todd (TSJ) might've had reconstructive surgery in order to look like Walker Flynn/Walker Laurence (unless we're supposed to forget that, who knows).

Or, lol...

It's all what I fear it is -- namely, that Irene kept tabs on her son in order to take him at the appropriate moment, brainwash him, and then train him to become some sort of assassin, a la DAYS' John Black. And either Todd (TSJ) is the agent she sent in her son's place or he's just some opportunist who seized what he believed at that time to be a golden opportunity.

If there was ever any doubt that RHTodd is the real deal, it ended for me when Vikki said her heart believed he was Todd. No way "Vikki's heart" is going to be wrong.
