Let me rephrase, I thought RB played Greenlee way too hard and lacked any vulnerabilty for the character.

BM's Iris had vulnerablity, RC/AC's Lorna had vulnerabilty, MW's Liza had vulnerability, I never saw that in RB's portayal of GreenLee, I think her pairings were popular because of JD and CM.

That never really bothers me for some reason, although I get why it does bother many--especially when you see them come and go so often (with ER it DID start to bug me just because her last few appearances were ones she agreed to only appear on briefly from the get go, so I knew it would be some rushed story and she'd be whisked away again and was just ready to recast). That said, I didn't mind when Greens was recast either and I do think the way they brought Buddig back was awful, but I don't eally blame her for that either.

I want nu-Bianca too. I fell out of love with Eden Riegel long before she left, not that I even loved her. I find her VERY annoying which is probably why her career outside of AMC has been such a failure. If it weren't for Maria Arena Bell stunt casting she never would've been so severely miscast as Heather on Y&R. I'd be upset if Eden came back because we all know how she did AMC so they really owe her nothing. If Eden wanted the role she could've stuck around or extended her last contract. She gave the role away. Hell, they even tried to bring her back shortly before Lind was cast.

Now with Greenlee it's a little different. I AM glad they paid Budig because I LOVE LOVE LOVED her return from the dead and relationship with David. However, everything has gone downhill since then and I don't feel Budig was trying. Right now I'd like to see a strong actress take over the role. I HATED Sabine as Greenlee though, so I wouldn't do a newbie.

Interesting....

TEXAS, USA -(ENEWSPF)- Colbert Super PAC has released a new TV ad to resolve the lockout in the Men's National Basketball Association (MNBA). The commercial, entitled "Foul Balls," chides the players for demanding superhuman salaries merely because they possess superhuman skills.

The spot was made possible thanks to a generous contribution from Colbert Super PAC S.H.H., a completely independent nonprofit organization which does not reveal its donor, or donors, or even if said donor(s) constitute a plural(s).

"I have always enjoyed watching a few rounds of ball-in-hoop," said Stephen Colbert, President of Colbert Super PAC and Colbert Super PAC S.H.H. "But now, greedy basketball players are threatening the livelihoods of many in the MNBA: from the job-creating team owners, to the Maori basketball net weavers, to half-time mini-trampoline slam-dunk gorillas. In these tough economic times, can we really afford to pay players what they're worth?"

The new commercial began airing today in the most coveted ad spot in the nation - on the Dallas/Ft Worth's WFAA Channel 8 Midday News at Noon - right between all-new episodes of "The Chew" and "One Life to Live." Colbert Super PAC has also struck an exclusive deal with The Internet to stream the ad online - you can view it by clicking here.

Colbert Super PAC, also known as Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow, is an independent expenditure-only committee, and Colbert Super PAC S.H.H. is a 501©(4) group that protects donor anonymity. Both were founded by pundit Stephen Colbert, who has a television program called The Colbert Report, which has recently hosted such notable guests as Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Good guy.

If you want my opinion the future of AMC on PP is all hinging on Lucci whether it should or not. I don't think PP believes they have a chance in hell of getting any kind of cable deal for AMC without her or Erica Kane. Like it or not Lucci and AMC are almost synonymous

The part of me that kind of bugs me is how they handled the deal with Lucci. You don't negotiate with the actor you feel is most valuable to this venture by email.

The actress who turned down that deal is CS (Amanda) who doesnt want Contract anyway, so sorry I dont believe her at all

Plus they have signed some actors to contracts that are less than 4 years and CM has shows with Yahoo and GMA so Excluisive is BS

I now agree with this without a doubt.

Jamey didn't include this in his piece but SOD also quotes a high-placed source who says that negotiations with AFTRA don't even seem to be a priority for PP, and that negotiations have not even begun with the writer's guild!

The great Frank Valentini is going to come in and save the day? Only in Jamey's mind.
