What a lame wedding! It was almost as lame as their wedding in the Confusion bar. Why doesnt anyone get married in a church anymore? At least they spared us a big event. Ryan and Greenlee suck. I had to roll my eyes when he was talking about how he has loved her so much and called her, his soulmate, they showed a clip of their first meeting in the 90s. Ryan did NOT love the bitch back then.

With that said, I do love that Brodericks is having lots of flashbacks spliced in with her material. Its making these episodes that much heartier

I'm reminded of the flashy B&B promos that aired during the commercial breaks of Capitol's finale. I know it is inevitable, but it would be nice to see at least a shred of dignity when it comes to promoting The Chew the day of AMC's finale. Promo the hell out of it during The View, OLTL and GH, slip a short one in at the 1/2 hour mark of AMC, but AMC's finale having scrunch credits with a full on press package of The Chew is just a fat ol' loogie in the face.

And to the folks who will deride sentiments like mine saying business is business, I say, Hell yeah it's business, it's bad business, and just who the hell are we talking about doing business with here? The mythical viewers who never watched ABC Daytime a day of their lives but will magically make it their business to watch/tape/Tivo a cooking show they've never even heard of? There is a way to go about things business-minded without looking like a network of tacky assholes and if you suggest that they are just that apathetic I would add foolish and out of touch and failing at PR.

I was hoping for a Gillian/Leo twofer from heaven.

Omg what a great episode! Yeah it centered around Ryan & Greenlee's wedding, which I hate, but it was still very well done! I loved it, gotta admit. I love how this was done so quickly and in one episode. LOL. Like it was something the writers wanted to get through fast so they could sweep it under the rug and move on to better things.

I think the point was to tease viewers (and also Tad). That box clearly showed a gun, but it also contained the RyLee butterfly. That's what Ryan was looking for, I don't think he was paying attention to the gun at all, LOL but we were teased to think so. I rewinded back those scenes and realized the little box with the butterfly was visible the whole time, the gun was just dominant and was the obvious choice..

LOL!!!

And I agree with you. He is great with the kids & I also really enjoyed him today. When he goes back to detective mode I'm sure my mind will change..

I loved Kendall & Griff's goodbye! What great scenes! I loved when they took the pics wub.gif That was handled so well. I just loved it.

    • I have watched the scene where Vanessa reads the letter and it's lovely, but I'm really glad now that I never got around to watching the funeral. Henry ADORED Nola! He treated her like a daughter and Stacy like a granddaughter. That's why Vanessa couldn't stand her. He was crazy about all the Reardons. He spent a lot of time at the boarding house. He and Bea--they never explicitly said it was romantic, but they certainly were loving friends. This sounds worse than Bert's funeral. I really did not think that was possible.
    • It always bothered me from the start that Nicole just took Mona's suggestion and never checked references.  A real psychiatrist would have done more before hiring someone. ** I like that Kat's reporter/investigative type instincts caused her to be suspicious of Eva from the start, and to try to spy on Eva and catch her as weeks went by. However, I think that Kat's so focused on what Eva did wrong -- that she won't see that Leslie is the master manipulator, making some things appear different than they actually are. I hope that Shanice's natural snoopy nature will get her to figure out what actually happened to Laura, and who really caused all the problems. *** edit to add: The show never specified what Mona's job was for Nicole.  Home manager?  Office manager?  Head personal assistant?  I'm sure there would have been a title?    Mona asserted today her upset with Eva and with Leslie.  That they used her and ruined her reputation.  I just wish I knew what Mona's job was. If Mona was an official manager, then it would have made sense for Nicole to trust the recommendation, if Nicole thought Mona had done a proper hiring procedure.  But if Mona is just an informal helper, then why wouldn't Nicole order a background check?
    • And I'm here for it.   Also...YES, PLEASE.
    • Also, someone knocked over the head (usually in the D Mansion) and imprisoned in the secret tunnel room or whatever it was. I swear that must have happened at least a dozen times the last few years, and each time it drove me crazy!
    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! And here I am rewatching and...

    • 5-9   Honestly? There's nothing going on. And yet unlike Y&R, I'm not bored. But I just think that's because of the acting going on as they play the beats in this Liam dying storyline. Well, that and the outfits.   If there's anything I'm liking it's the continued drama of Daphne going after Carter and not letting anyone get in her way. Not Brooke. Not Katie. NO ONE.    And while I love TK in those glasses, I am not here for a Brooke/Ridge/Taylee triangle.    And of course, Luna would try to use this Liam mess to get closer to Finn.   Okay week.
    • The acting during those Sarah scenes on Friday was horrific.
    • So true. Their hypocrisy is on another level. When Anita called Ted a coward because he used Bill as a fixer, I almost choked on my Ritz. And Dani calling Ted worse than Bill as a husband because Bill never pretended to be a good person? Then why stay with him for decades and continue to kiss up to him, Dani? I was glad when Bill told Anita he wouldn't be her punching bag. Not for me. I can think of 100 other actors who would have smoking hot chemistry with LB. Lindstrom does not. I see zero chemistry. None. Joey isn't sexy or scary.   -- Mona was awesome today. -- Why was Eva playing cards in the back room of the casino? -- Can they make Anita any more sanctimonious and self-righteous? -- Dani said Anita had Ted shook. LOL. Really?       No. But I see what you're trying to do. This is a SOAP OPERA. Characters HAVE to make mistakes and sin and screw up and cheat. That's the deal. I understand the concern that we have 2 leading Black men who have cheated on their wives. I do. But I also understand that this is SOAPS 101. Are we going to hear complaints every time a Black character messes up???
