Worse is that Bradley tried again when Ashley Jones took over the role. After the disastrous first recast of Bridget with an actress I don't remember her name right now Bridget was off the show for a few months but they brought her back and had her lovesick with Ridge which lead to that whole Ridge/Bridget/Amber/Thomas debacle at Big Bear.

Actually, I completely forgot Thomas was paired up with Amber there in 2004. They had to age Thomas from 16 to 18 for the story. This was around the time Eric was suppose to get a Lolita story with Hector's daughter but thankfully never occurred.

Another story that perhaps thankfully never happened was originally Taylor was suppose to get Thomas' wife Gaby deported only for her to end up presumed dead in a plane crash on the way back to Mexico. The plan was to have her come back deranged and disfigured and get revenge on Taylor by kidnapping Thomas.

Winsor Harmon may not be breaking any records in the acting department but he does tend to have great chmistry with female actresses (notable exceptions: Bobbie Eakes and Lilly Melgar). I loved Brooke/Thorne, but I also love Taylor/Thorne. Sadly, Bradley Bell does not feel there is any real potential in Thorne -- which is ironic, because the neglected, ignored younger brother is a SL loaded with potential next to the played-out blowhard, Ridge.

I love it too!

Gotta love Sheila's "I wish you lots of lovely surprises" (raises eyebrow) but i think Brooke and Stephanie's part is the funniest.

Like i said the Y&R christmas ad like this is on the christmas eve 92 show that i will upload next, but it's not as funny as the B&B one.

    • So yesterday I wandered off on a tangent about Elvis Presley, off the top of my head. Probably no one cares but I want to correct facts. Elvis Presley did have a twin who was stillborn. They named him Jesse Garon Presley & in a level of their emotional life he was very real to Elvis's mama & to a lesser degree to Elvis himself. I will now return you to your regularly scheduled discussing post-Ron prattle.
    • They are the absolute stars for me. I’m delighted every day that my feelings about them from the special on the show, turned out to be that and so much more. I genuinely feel episodes are better when they’re featured. This cracked me the hell up especially with Leslie listening

. This episode was so good, I will be rewatching when I get home tonight. THIS was classic soap opera.
    • I can barely remember who was the person they tested her with for the AMC revival but I *do* remember kinda liking them together (anyone remember better?  lol)  But yes, I feel the same.  It might not help that when I became a regular viewer Tad was presumed dead and she was with Craig...  I do remember that my sister's best friend had been an AMC viewer with her mom and dad and that they were very excited that Tad was returning... OK I instantly remembered that.  And now once again I'm sad about what coulda been with the reboot.
    • Well, that is weird. I do not see him but I only have him on Ignore on 2 accounts.
    • In the preview for the show back in February on Entertainment Tonight, Jeresa the costume designer was specific about each character's economic background, personality, and the character's personal fashion preferences.  Very much about the characters and not the actors. She said Eva is a thrifter, so her normal daily wardrobe would be something from a thrift store, and if BTG buys it new, they intentionally make it look used. So what you said fits about the type of thing a lower income person would buy for a fancy event.
    • As hard as it is for me to imagine anyone but Don Stewart as Mike Bauer...I dunno...maybe someone like "Adam-12"'s Kent McCord?  Or Robert Hogan?
    • Yep I don't hate Javi and then he's macking on Leo and I'm done with him. Leo is a failure who needs to go away   I am bracing myself for Alex reading the manuscript and imagining him and Stephanie as the main characters, because this couple has literally nothing else to do until Joy comes back showing
    • Oh yes. The towel scene though
    • Interesting that Donald May has been mentioned twice. He's on my dreamcast list for Alan. He was somewhat older than Stewart and Bernau, but he could have played either role. An actor I thought about for Mike was Dan Hamilton. He played a role on GL during the 60s, but enough time had passed that it shouldn't have been a problem. He usually played smarmy characters but it would have been cool if they had gone against typecasting.
