LOL!!! He better be the father of that child. Lol at him telling Amber he was relieved when the paternity test ruled him out as the father of her baby. I would love for that to be untrue!!

Amber's doorbell ringing and her touching her pregnant belly and saying "Please please please baby, let that be your father at the door" Who's at the door? Marcus. LOL!! laugh.gif

Marcus rubbing Amber's belly & telling her he thinks pregnant women are "sexy as hell" laugh.gif

Amber at the end of the show wondering if Marcus could be her babys Daddy. "No way" "It can't be" lol!! Love all of it.

I love Brooke, and this self-flagellation is too much for me. I had half a hope she was simply punking Thomas and Stephanie, figuring that they were in cahoots somehow and trying to guilt them into telling the truth.

Then I slapped myself and realized this is Brooke's m.o., continuing her quest for Stephanie's "respect".

I dont get why she cares so much about Stephanie's approval and acceptance. I wanted to puke when she was going on about wanting o devote her life to earning her respect and becoming just a good a person as she is. I wish she had told Stephanie and the restof the family to go to hell and that she was going to work on focusing on herself and being a better person for herself and her children, not Stephanie and Ridge. It might have made for a better twist if she was punking them but I dont think this Brooke is clever enough for that. They write her as being very weak and naive about the things that go on around her.

Amber plucking that hair out of Marcus's head was hilarious! LOL!

I don't mind the Brooke stuff, even though I think she's totally wrong and being way to hard on herself. It's clear the writers are doing this to make viewers feel deeply sorry for Brooke (it's really working, at least for me, LOL...).

I don't get it either...it's not like Steph's history isn't littered with questionable moral lapses (not knowing Ridge was Moss' son, not Eric's; lying that Felicia was dead, lying that Angela was; trying to fix Kristen's "fridigity"; lying about Ridge shooting Thorne; the entire Andy-the-rapist debacle) and complete psycho-tendencies (like every time she nearly killed Brooke, and every time she "liberated" the Forrester men by humiliating Brooke publicly---which she later conveinently forgot when blaming Brooke for the "publicity hits" Forrester took over the years.)

Stephanie ISN'T a respectable person---she's simply plot-driven Teflon. Stories never linger on Steph's moral or personal inadequacies. And they're rewritten to suit the next plot. Like the time she was thrown out of Forrester---suddenly when she went over to Jackie M, it was revealed that she'd been a "driving force" at Forrester, and it was her networking (and knowing every employee's name, family and history, from the lowest janitor and pattern-cutter...cough cough) with every socialite from Jackie Kennedy to Gwyneth Paltrow that kept Forrester gowns on the rich and famous.

Pretty much. Especially since it was rewritten that Ric was simply out to screw over Ridge, and had no real feelings for her. *eyeroll* The same way it's forgotten Taylor's screwed ALL of Brooke's male relation. (And Ric and Stephen fairly close together, as I recall.)

It was Thorne who shot Ridge, and on that occasion I can actually understand Stephanie. Thorne was drugged when it happened and didn't remember, and the reason he shot Ridge was because Ridge had slept with Caroline. Stephanie was both trying to protect Thorne from getting into trouble, and trying to keep Ridge and Caroline's secret from coming out.

The Amber/Carl scenes today were ridiculously campy! I found them really hilarious, LMAO at Carl listening to Justin Bieber while he works because it calms him down. Amber going into labor at the end had me cracking up! I'm loving this!

I always love Oliver/Brooke scenes :D Poor Oliver still thinking he has a chance with Hope!

Bill/Marcus/Justin scenes were pretty good. Marcus annoyed me when he said something about getting a bachelor pad for himself rolleyes.gif Just the way he said it. LOL he's most likely a soon to be father so he might have to rethink that :)

IA on Amber and Carl! That stuff was too funny, especially Amber's water breaking. She's such a mess. I wonder how long it will take for Tawny to get there and do damage control

I thought it was cute how excited Brooke got for Hope, almost like she's vicariously living through her daughter's happiness. I cant beleive Im saying this but I liked the Brooke and Oliver scenes, like liked them as a potential couple

Yep, my bad. It's not so much that I didn't understand Stephanie's actions---but that she constantly criticizes Brooke for lying to protect others (namely Ridge), when she's done the exact same thing. Steph's manipulations are legion---I couldn't even begin to think of them all. This latest thing with Thomas is just the cherry on her immoral sundae.

Steph is all about "the truth"---but only as a yardstick to judge others by. When it comes to her family lying, cheating, acting like skanks, that's understandable. Admirable, even. One wonders how the Forresters coped before Brooke came along for Steph to bully.

    • Trump and Netanyahu are giving "Let them eat cake".  And it's horrific. In 2013, Pope Francis removed a bishop from running the Limburg Germany diocese because he was constructing an opulent 31-million-euro building. Pope Francis stood up for the poor, the unhoused, the migrants of all faiths.  He lived simply and ordered that when he died, that he wished to be interred in a simple wooden coffin. I sincerely hope that the new pope Leo will follow Francis' example.
    • Co Sign!!!!   I have been watching the show regularly over the last few weeks and am pleasantly surprised by how much easier it is to watch each day. This definitely is confirmation for me that Paula and Jeanne wrote the stroke episodes, cause I felt the same way watching those. Could be more exciting for sure, but interactions now make more sense and everything seems to be a bit more character driven which is great. I will add though, there are still about 10 or so characters i'd love to see gone, and hope a few will exit in the future! Otherwise, happy with the changes so far.

    • There is suffering everywhere you look, says mother of emaciated baby girl trapped in Gaza https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czrv5rl73zdo Quoting excerpts from BBC article: The baby's mother Najwa, 23, is changing Siwar's nappy. She weighs just over 2kg (4lb 6oz). A baby girl of five months should be around or over 6kg. "There was no food when I gave birth to her," says Najwa. "If I wanted to feed myself so I could breastfeed her, I had no nutrients to make my health better... She now only drinks formula milk, and we don't know how we'll be able to provide it for her." Israel has banned international journalists from entering Gaza to report independently. According to Siwar's doctor, Ziad al-Majaida, "Nothing enters through the borders, no milk, food or anything. This leads to big problems here for the kids. This baby needs a specific type of milk. It was available before, but because of the border closure, the stocks have run out for a while now." Since the beginning of the year, according to the UN, about 10,000 cases of acute malnutrition among children have been identified. Food prices have rocketed by as much as 1,400%. Charity kitchens, which have helped hundreds of thousands of Gazans, are shutting as food supplies run out. Twenty-five bakeries supported by the World Food Programme have been forced to close. Israel cut off all humanitarian aid and other supplies from entering Gaza on 2 March, and resumed its military offensive two weeks later The United Nations has said the Israeli blockade constitutes "a cruel collective punishment" on civilians. The UN's humanitarian director, former British diplomat Tom Fletcher, said that international law was unequivocal. "As the occupying power, Israel must allow humanitarian support in... Aid, and the civilian lives it saves, should never be a bargaining chip," he warned. From the BBC reporter: I put this point to Boaz Bismuth, a leading member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party. He (Bismuth) denies there is an aid crisis caused by the blockade. "There is food in Gaza... Israel wouldn't do such a restriction if the population didn't have food. I mean, I know my country perfectly well," he (Bismuth) said. BBC reporter: I put it to Bismuth that he was denying the evidence of people's eyes, that children were starving. "There are not starving children. I repeat again." He (Bismuth) said that there had been allegations months ago of famine, ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza "which was crap". ----  ----  ---- A UK-based advocacy group for Israel has the nerve to claim war may reduce obesity in Gaza https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/may/10/uk-lawyers-for-israel-condemned-over-claim-war-may-reduce-obesity-in-gaza
    • Joel Crothers would have been perfect as Owen (maybe because Margo wasn't too far off Denise). A shame he couldn't have played a dual role. Eliot did have more room to grow. I wonder if whatever allegedly happened with Denny Albee played a part in both their exits.

    • I remember Evie's last scene and it was in Justin Marler's house and she is telling them that Ben is asking for a reconciliation and she is going to join him. I always have wondered what Janet Grey did after leaving Guiding Light (I know from the interview with Kathleen Cullen that she did have a baby and they stayed in touch for awhile).
    • https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/11/trump-accept-luxury-plane-gift-qatar Donald Trump is reportedly ready to accept a luxury plane described to be a “palace in the sky” being offered to the US president as a gift from Qatar’s royal family, almost immediately igniting accusations of bribery and corruption as well as commensurate criticism. citing multiple sources familiar with the matter, ABC reported (link) that the Trump administration was preparing to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8, a jumbo jet from the Qatari royals that was estimated to be about $400m. Trump would then use the 13-year-old plane as the new Air Force One until shortly before the conclusion of his second Oval Office stint, at which point it would be transferred to his presidential library foundation no later than 1 January 2029. The luxury gift from Qatar is expected to be announced next week during Trump’s three-day tour of the Middle East that includes Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, ABC reported. Trump toured the opulent plane in February while it was parked at the West Palm Beach international airport, ABC added. According to ABC’s sources, Trump’s attorney general Pam Bondi and his top White House lawyer David Warrington have pre-emptively concluded that it is “legally permissible” for Trump to accept the luxury gift and then transfer it over to his presidential library.
