I loved the theme tonight (I love Bocelli and that Foster guy was great-finally a guest who doesn't pull any BS and pushes the singers) but boy was I disappointed. This was the perfect week for the singers to show their stuff vocally and most of them flopped. Here goes:

Katherine: I could not disagree with the judges more. There was a few pitch problems but not enough to call the performance a flop. It was one of the best of the night and I just love how the judges say all the time to be original but tonight they tell Kat she was nowhere close to how Whitney sang it. I personally loved that she threw herself into it and commanded the state. She also looked beautiful. She was not that bad at all.

Elliot-Finally he sings something a little different and I loved that. First time in a few weeks I have loved him. Great vocals and showmanship. He showed great personality and the fact that he loved the song had to help. Only thing I hated was Paula crying. I loved Simon laughing at her and I get Elliot had a tough life and all but she acted way too emotional. It just bugged me for some reason.

Kellie-Terrible. Get her off already. I am sick of AI trying to make us like her and trying to pull for more sympathy for her. I do feel bad for her based on her past but I am just sickened now. Tomarrow night is her time to go-how many songs must she butcher before she gets tossed? Simon should have never been cut off-I wanted to hear more.

Paris: Loved her. She has really turned it on the last few weeks. I think she is this year's Vonzell. She looked and sounded great and I don't think the judges gave her enough credit (the judges were just being bitches tonight like they seem to be every year at the halfway point-most likely trying to push the singers).

Taylor-Ok but not his best. The ending saved it from being a total bore. He has a big fanbase but he may be in some trouble tomarrow because his entermainment value is his bread and butter and tonight he was out of his element and was a bore and that is not what people like about him. He has vocals but the performance and entertainment factor matter most with him.

Chris-Words can not express how great that was. That was fantastic and he proved to the world he can sing anything. Great song choice, loved the background instruments and just the whole feel. If he isn't in the finals its a joke.

My bottom 3 would be Kellie, Taylor and probablty either Elliot or Paris even though they were good. Katherine was too good to be there but I guess she could turn up there too but no matter what Kellie should go.

Fantastic. She was pitchy a bit but what were the judges smoking!? She did great.

Taylor

It was good performance. Kinda boring, IMO. He has a good voice, but I dunno... just wasn't the best for him. He can do way better.

Elliot

Best of the night. Hands down amazing. 'Nuff said.

Chris

Much better this week. I think his performance got him out of the bottom three. Didn't show a whole lot of the Chris everyone is used to, but still good.

Paris

I thought she was great! I worry about her chances though

Kellie

Butchered another wonderful song. She had a moment or two I actually enjoyed it, but overall, she sucked again.

DialIdol is also reporting Kellie and Paris have the lowest total in everything (busy signals, votes, etc.). Katharine and Elliot are neck and neck for that third spot while Chris and Taylor are the top two. Say hello, folks, to our final two of the season, Chris and Taylor (IMO).

I think Katherine did pretty good. Was she great no but the judges were really tough on her. I think after all the praise from them last week they were just expecting alot more than they received.

I'm not a hugh elliot fan but he did well tonight.

Kellie- this girl needs to go home she is just taking votes away from people with talent.

Paris-I like her but felt she was off tonight imo

Taylor- started off tough but he really pulled it through in the end

Chris-I loved it. Showed another side but he did really well with it. No he isn't Brian Adams but it still sounded great.

Chris Daughtry and Elliott Yamin were the best tonight, voted for both. Katharine was good, but wish she picked something else, "I Have Nothing", is to identified with Whitney Houston. I also think the judges were too hard on her. Paris was good too. I actually can't believe I liked Taylor (who I usually hate) better than the judges tonight.

The bottom should be Kellie Pickles, who should go the hell home (she should've gone weeks ago, she's pitiful and horrible and fake, and the worst singer to make it to the Top 10 ever IMHO). Taylor should also be in the bottom 3, with I guess Paris the last of the bottom 3.

KATHERINE= AWFUL! I don't know what her fans are smoking, but I want some. Zzzzzzz.

Elliot - Outstanding.

Kellie - AWFUL! High note was good, but the rest was...wow.

Paris - So talented, it's mind-blowing!

Taylor - Boring.

Chris - Good. Ok. Meh.

Taylor was not bad and brought me to tears!! Kellie too actually!!

Katharine was pretty good..Elliot wasn't bad...Chris was great!! Paris was pretty good too!!

Bottom 3 will be: Paris, Elliot, and Taylor...with Elliot going home.

I'm afraid for Katharine's safety. I may not know a lot about music, but that sounded pretty damn good to me. I've heard a bunch of performances even worse than hers (or so they claim) that were crap, but nobody went after those. (Bucky, Kellie, Ace..) I'm sure Kellie is safe another night, Chris was great, Taylor was good..Paris and Elliot put me to sleep. Paula's on drugs.
