I think it was because they asked her once Will comes out, who's going to be her new love interest and are they going to move her back with Chad, she seemed to say no or not know. If they don't move her into a triangle with Abby and Chad, what is there for her to do?

I have a feeling people are going to be pissed if tomorrow is anything short of Sonny bounding in, locking eyes with Will, and planting a big kiss on him while Chad looks on with envy. The expectations for a couple that doesn't even exist yet are absurd.

Well there is all the drama to play out of her boyfriend, whom she loves and was ready to sleep with, being gay. There is a lot more than a triangle, thatodds are will happen but what they are filming now doesnt air until nearly spt/oct so they cant realy speak about it.

pretty much.

im most excited for this story to see judi & wally have something to play

I'm just glad Dena is not writing this storyline....though she's starting it, unfortunately. Dena just cannot create a rootable couple and hasn't done so in her 3 years back.

June, July and early August is Dena's stuff. Then sometime in August to Sept 22 is the rewritten stuff.

When has a gay storyline been written like that?

I thought Lure and Kish had their moments but still they weren't brave enough to write a whole story.

Me too. I'm not familiar with the new co-head writers, but they are bound to be better than whatever Higley was going to write for them. I was nervous about Higley writing a gay story, especially one between a Kiriakas and a Horton.

What a nice post! :D It says quite a lot actually. :D I can't say that this is what I'D expect on tomorrow so I won't be pissed at all. They promise to drag this storyline out which is going to create plenty of time for the unraveling. :D And I'm patient enough to wait and see it all through. :D

I'm sorry, but aren't the "crazies" ( and I choose to use that word in quotes) the ones who pretty much got Higley to do this to begin with? I kind of think so! I'm sure Higley has her own mind but I think lots of prodding from those who wanted to see gay characters on the show figured prominently in her decision to go there.

I thought she did a great job with Evangeline & Todd  , that was the strongest relationship she ever built in her whole time at soaps. From simply lawyer and client, to budding friendship, to best friends, to a will they or won't they romantic relationship, right till the end. She (and whoever helped) did a great job.

    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
    • Luna parachutes herself into Llanview at the end of September 15th 1991.
    • That lengthy flashback does make me wonder if she threw out a lot, but I agree it may have been too easy an urban legend. Would these have been her very first episodes? I imagine you could feel the big difference when Bobbie arrived, alongside the Quartermaines filing in, the return of Heather, and Lesley/Rick/Monica/Alan heating up. It does remind me that there must have been some dud moments in the 60-minute format we just don't see because little of the period is available in full.  I wonder how much longer the Dantes lasted under Marland.  David Hamilton is so disgusting. I appreciate the show making him disgust as some shows when they have stories about older men or women manipulating teens aren't as honest.  I can't see this Rick being friends with him. Chris Robinson's Rick, on the other hand, I could believe.
