How many short term stories did Malone/Gottlieb actually tell?

I know there was the abuse story with Craig Wasson and something about Tina and 'The Daughters of Llanview'.

How long did they actually last, who was involved and were there any others?

I can't decide if the Kevin & Stephanie story is endearingly insane or too, too precious.

Gottlieb and Malone undoubtedly revived OLTL, and a great deal of the output from 1992 and 1993 is worthwhile, but it can be hard to shake how much long-term damage much of that era did to the show (in my opinion).

It has always been controversial, but I think most fans would call the Gottlieb/Malone (and Horgan) era the last golden age of OLTL, and I agree. Was it perfect? Of course not, and some elements haven't aged well or (in the case of Todd) led to deeper issues down the road. But I think right up to the end of their run there was very good stuff. I've dug back into '95 recently. There's definitely stuff you can cringe at, but much of it also really holds up.

I might be reading too much into this, but using "The Promise of a New Day" for the underscoring of Jason's first scene has to be intentional, right? (Also, I was hoping that we'd get a Billy Douglas shoutout when Viki called the boys' friends.)

Oh, I figured we wouldn't see him yet, there'd just be a line or two as foreshadowing.

I'm getting near the end of January 1986 and I think I finally know what is going on completely and who is who. I hope I'm not disappointed with what's to come.

It seems that every time I scroll through the comments here on SON, I find another post written by you that is perfectly expressed, and which I agree with 100%.

Bravo. You're saving me a lot of time by typing out my thoughts for me, LOL!
