Pam Long wrote Todd punching Tea out cold, right?

Just read Her Stories and then re-read Llanview in the Afternoon, which I know was discussed here ad nauseum when it was released many years ago. It’s easily the most important document about the rise and fall of the genre. Such a treasure. I was struck at how “c’est la vie” Melissa Archer was about what happened to the show in the 2000s. It’s didn’t come off as apologizing for Frons, etc., but more an acknowledgement of the inexorable forces at play beyond the show’s control and making the best of a less-than-ideal situation. I sometimes wish I had her Zen.

Jacqueline Courtney looked gorgeous in that May 29, 1980 episode. It was so nice to see all those beloved core characters in Llanview. Many of them would be axed within the decade.

What a blessing it is that Erika was able to play Viki for 40+ years, right up to the show's end. She really was the heart of OLTL.

Agreed.

If you want to know when Paul Rauch became a liability to OLTL, look no further than the Badderly storyline.

Sadly, Rauch ended up being a liability on every show he (mis)managed.

Cool!! I'd love a Bo/Hank reunion with just NP and RSW. That would be a lot of fun.

I read a post from Sharon Gabot (Melinda #3) that she never made a commercial.   However, there is a woman who looks a lot like her in that Diet Coke commercial above.
