JFP apparently had Harding Lemay on board as a story consultant during that year without an HW (1999). I'd be curious as to what he actually did.

IIRC didn't JFP want Gillian Spencer as a head writer (I believe she was part of the writing team then) but GS turned it down and left

Betting a lot of stories that JFP retooled and tossed out. Especially if it was at the expense of one of her 'friends.'

Didn't Lemay talk about this? Wasn't he pissed about what happened?

IDK but I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Actually, Lemay once said JFP was the best EP he'd worked with in terms of developing story.

Lemay complimented JFP extensively. He never said anything about pitching stories.

That's nice to know. JFP can be a good EP when she is paired with a great head writer. Otherwise, she is a mess and the show is a mess.

JFP should've realized that last year

If she didn't realize it after Nancy Curlee quit GL, then she never will.

Sad part is that Jill could've struck gold again at Y&R had she not rallied for Pratt to join her at Y&R instead of the position going to Alden or Sussman-Morina. It'll be just another dud on Jill's resume....

And we are paying dearly for it

Suckass-Moron-a is no catch herself, people.

I always have to chime in whenever she's mentioned, her reputation is built purely upon Tweets from Jamey Giddens and not in the reality of her actual (lackluster/terrible) work or track record.

I was going to say this as I am not a fan of hers either, but I decided not to. I'm glad you did.
