Is 1999 a strong year for the show?

Yes, it was a good year. Jean Dadario Burke was an underrated EP for AMC.

During her tenure there was a stellar cast, great background music, awesome sets, and good writing.

They also just came off from winning the 1998 emmy for outstanding drama. That was credited to Francesa James though..

Thank you to both! I plan on dipping my toes in January 1999.

That’s exactly what I suggested for ATWT and GL (albeit via Hallmark Channel) when they were cancelled. As always, not getting my hopes up whatsoever and will probably forget all about this news within a week, but it’s a nice thought and I’m here for it.

TV movies is not the way to go with AMC or any other cancelled soap. This will not fly. Bring the show back daily or let it r.i.p. I doubt this will go anywhere. The best shot at an AMC revival was with Kelly & Mark’s weekly idea and ABC passed. That ship has sailed.

It's a great idea and something that can make the entire All My Children magic to begin re-emerging and resurrecting.

I truly believe in my heart the world has not seen the last of AMC.

I’m so hyped! I’ll take anything I can get. I’m in the minority but I loved the reboot 2013..

I hope Vincent/David will be back

I hope that there will be something soapy about these films. I have a hard time thinking of a soap opera in film form. I can see a Hubbard movie and something with Erica's circle.
