This miserable basterd thinks the public, mainly young adults bank on watching reality TV. Claims loyalty to soaps and sitcoms doesn't exist. Shows that had 40+ yrs. in loyal fanbase daily he trashes but he thinks cooking daily and reality TV is more impactful. IDEK why ABC keeps this puke employed.dry.gif

Day 1 after the Guillotine. Feeling eager to do what we do better than any other daytime show. Now we can tell OUR stories without the hooded monster with an ax breathing down our necks. Head up, shoulders back, say my words and don't bump into the furniture! 3 hours ago

Does anything/anyone have a loyal fanbase anymore that airs on television? The only thing I can think of is sports, and viewers are courted to support their team. (There are so few science fiction shows left and soaps are about gone.)

I appreciate everyone culling the news. And no I am glad that we aren't getting the runaround like the P&G shows did to the fans giving them hope for their shows being picked up by another outlet.

Obviously the Number One and Two shows on the air when they are in season - Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. I watch

both, have every season, and will continue to watch them. They are Must-See TV for me and I look forward every time they

come back on the air.

Brandon Buddy on Twitter (I just lumped all the OLTL-related ones together):

wow! what a crazy day! stay positive! Now we all move on to the next chapter.... this was fun! same time tomorrow? ; ) night everyone! Very sorry to all that have watched and been so dedicated to OLTL. I'm just glad that i can say that i was once part of something special!!! as long as your here with me on this crazy ride i will do everything in my power to please and entertain u. not making any promises ; ) ha btw i want to thank everyone so much for all of your support over the years. i wouldn't be here if it weren't for all of u! in my opinion i don't think the show can end w/o a starr and cole reunion. but thats just me but what do i know ; ) I'm not sure how they're planning on ending the show but it would be an honor to go back and rock out some scenes with Ms. Alderson ; ) Wow! What happened today? OLTL canceled? Hmmmm. Not really sure what to say. Obviously shocked. Seems everyone else feels the same.

You just gotta love Robin Strasser, lol:

http://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/one-life-star-irresponsible-cancellation

Robin Strasser (Dorian, OLTL) is among the many actors upset about the show's cancellation. "It's an enormous sense of loss, a cavalier and utterly irresponsible decision," the actress tells Digest. "They're not thinking straight."
