If more time had been spent on constructive criticism and less on talking about how amazing the show was and how awful AMC was, then perhaps the show might have taken some of this onboard.

The photo being of Todd and Tea doesn't exactly showcase why OLTL deserved to live.

Glad he got that out of his system. Maybe now he can stop whining about it so much.

What does it matter anyway? They were both targeted for cancellation. OLTL's just happened a bit sooner than most people thought. Unfortunate, yes. Absolutely criminal? GMAFB.

You know what? I'm taking my damn shirt off and we gon' fight like men damn it.

FALSE

Matter of opinion? Sure. But stop using your opinions to justify your psychotic rants.

GET THE F!CK OUT.

Newsflash, Jamey. Saying "yes, yes, we know the Rapemance was awful, we know Rex/Gigi suck, etc" does NOT mean you can ignore all of that nonsense when trying to pimp your favorite show.

"...brazen, topical stories, mixed in with campy, soapy fun."

I can't even with this idiot.

Which one was the rapemance? Brazen, topical? Campy or soapy? WTF is topical in Llanview anyway? I KNOW he ain't talking about this ridiculous ass bullying story. Yeah, it's topical, all right, but it's also been shoddily put together, has been terribly rushed, and suffers from terrible acting from three of the main players. I can't praise that sh!t. Give me something else. Oh, I guess Deanna and James is topical. Oh wait, no no no, using DID as a comedic plot point is topical. Oh wait, nope nope nope, devoting an entire summer to two boring ass actors playing the same damn character is topical and soapy.

The Fords? I guess they're the brazen part. I think the whole damn thing is brazen. Someone at ABC and/or OLTL, someone who may or may not be named Frank or Ron brazenly puts these sh!trocious characters on the show, and they brazenly strut around with their dumb expressions and naked chests, and people like you, Jamey, brazenly defend that sh!t. I guess that's brazen.

Keep that sh!t, I don't want it.

BUT YOU ARE NOT SAD ABOUT THE FATE OF ALL MY CHILDREN. OMFG. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

The lying as GOT TO STOP, Jamey. FOR REAL, home girl!

Don't you realize it, you idiot? They canceled the show because they want MORE. MONEY.

Just face it, Jamey, they canceled your favorite show. Stop blaming mine. Just tape as many Ford fiestas as you can before January and load 'em up in your spank bank.

Ol' basic ass.

I can see where the bullying story might be seen as topical, but I don't think that is worthy of praise when other stories, like the repeated attempts to make sexual abuse seem hot, go on and on.

I also think that if some fans had rang an alarm more over how awful Farah and JPL were when they got big material in 2008, the "Morasco Fiasco" might not have become so prominent. Instead it was hype and more hype (I think Gigi/Rex got best new couple of the year at DC, or one of the best) until Stacey.

    • This episode was probably the most we've ever seen of Jan.. and it took long enough. The phone conversation between Jan/Ashley also shed light on their backstory.. and I think it explains why Ashley seems to live in a dreamworld and why she's having difficulties with living with Derek.  Derek could be doing everything right and Ashley would still have a problem because she was an only child, didn't see her mother model positive male/female interactions, and sounds as if she was alone a lot of the time. Nicole is modeling healthy human behavior and she would be smart not to listen to Dani's advice... well intentioned as it is. Eva is the character you root for because she's suffering the consequences of her actions.  And if I were Eva, I wouldn't want to be part of the Dupree world.   I'm hoping the Doug/Joey scenes today is signaling that we're finally moving to the next stage of this story... Doug either asking Vanessa for the money, or letting Joey have dibs on Vanessa's business books, etc.   And Joey finally showing his true colors makes me think we might be approaching that next stage of this story.
    • Lord have mercy!!! Not SilkPress vs Eva at Oprhany Gene for everyone to see!!!! Though I loved Vernon shading SilkPress. I continue to love all this fallout.   Is THAT Joey's endgame?
    • WAIT!!?  You don't want to know CM's workout secrets?  And a recap of his insta feed?  What's wrong with you?   Anyhow, today's show had good character moments.  I feel like Sonny/Laura brought it down.  I really like Tracey and Jason scenes so I think I am a weirdo.  Carly/Lulu were actually pretty good as well, but Carly's dress was some sort of bondage/leather type situation?  It was a strange wardrobe choice lol.
    • Oh God When are we gonna see this on BTG?
    • Yeah, I don't really love Felicity being used to push the Chad/Cat agenda.  I don't get the question on Xander's behavior either.  He was wrong and offensive. I like Xander.  I think Paul Telfer is great.  If Marlena did the same thing I would say she's wrong too.  Characters are imperfect and that's fine.
    • Vanessa told Joey that her best friend had cheated and has a surprise daughter.  Joey said the same had happened to him.  I wasn't sure if Joey was saying he has an adult out-of-wedlock child?
    • Interesting. I definitely think that it's possible that Jan could be a former lover of Joey's from back in the day, maybe back when he was still married. I won't be surprised if it comes out at some point that Jan used to be an escort or something.
    • Quick question, How are you guys making time to watch all these soaps? I consider myself a pretty organized person, but since I have committed to watching more of the older soaps. I feel all over the place, and can not figure out a schedule that seems to work.  How are you all doing it?   Thanks. I will check that out.
    • Oh, poor Henry had to wait for the grave to finally come "out"! The whole things was McTavish plot dictated so that Hart could have money to pull off his scam of Roger later. The fortune is totally forgotten later. Which reminds me WHY did they fire Hilliard who actually could kinda pass for a midwestern farm boy..from JOISEY Grillo? AM and Lucy's wedding has got to be the weirdest wedding up to that point and really exemplified the McLaiby cheesy run. Universal Studios? And the Spauldings shut the place down for the wedding that only involves 6 people??? Its not even that weird that Bridget and David arent there...they didn't even invite AM's Mom or Grandfather...
    • It seems easy to be empathic that if a random man raised his voice to me at the mall today, I would not be appeased if he later went and apologized to my sister. I like giving the character more to do, because there is a value in representing a person with a congenital disorder being employed, given that the unemployment rate in that community tops 83%.  I just hope they find a voice for the character that matches her functioning ability.  As for Cat, I wonder if she is going to inherit any of Clyde's money?  And that was the reason for the phone call.  I know he's not dead, but he could have named her family as the beneficiary of some insurance policy if he were to be incapacitated.  And the call could have been an attorney trying to reach her to give her money.
