Wow at the stuff about GH possibly ending next fall. Never thought DAYS would outlive ATWT and all 3 ABC soaps.

So glad Hoover is pulling out all their ads from ABC, hopefully others follow suit, stick it to ABC and save our shows even though it is a bit of a stretch and most likely lead to nowhere at least its something.

JPL: "Bissell is so much cooler. Am I right, Mr. Frons?"

(JPL and Frons fist-bump each other. Farah Fath gives the camera "the finger.")

There never seems to be any buzz for these shows though. They are full of mostly unknowns to the average viewer and supposedly The Revolution is so chaotic they had to put it off by several months.

If the advertisers get the vibe that these shows are just to fill up time and will never be any type of even a modest success, then they are going to draw a line.

Call me a right cynical bitch but someone at Hoover PR is a marketing genius. Hoover knew the first sponsor to speak out would get the most gravy from soap fans and jumped to the top of that line. Now they get to market themselves as the company who CARES versus big bad wolf ABC.

Of course Hoover doesn't want anyone to know ABC daytime and primetime ratings sucked so bad they aren't really hurting by putting their ad dollars elsewhere.

From Kassie DePaiva's Facebook page, not her personal one, her fanpage, but she posts on it:

I support my fans and their love for their favorite daytime dramas. These soap operas are and have been a part of their lives for decades. And I salute these fans for fighting for them til the bitter end. I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful American form of entertainment. My wish is they will live on!!!! I love One LIFE to LIVE!!!!

I didn't boycott Dancing with the Stars. Watching it right now and enjoying every minute of it. I do not plan on

boycotting ABC and will watch what I want to on the network. In fact, there are plenty of people who are not soap

people who will still watch this show. The ratings will not be affected.
