There are and always have been other characters I enjoy on Y&R, but Jill is the main attraction for me. Having watched nearly 20 years (since 93), you'd think I'd be more attached to the cast of characters than I am. It's not like ATWT, AW, DAYS, or SB, where I always had/have my favorites but have many characters I love and adore. It's just not that way with Y&R for me, at least anymore. My other old faves are either gone (Brad, HT's Victoria, BE's Ashley, JT, AD's Diane, Drucilla, RealMalcolm) or destroyed/not written for properly (Sharon, Nikki, Nina, Ashley, MW's Diane, Phyllis, Nick).

I was the same way with AMC- started off watching for Brooke (in 94), then Marcy came back as Liza, and I stayed all the way through until Edmund died and they stopped writing for Brooke entirely.

Either way, I can't have Y&R without Jill.

I'm not enjoying it as much as I did in the 90's, but I do still enjoy it. There isn't just one person (or even a few) that I am watching for. Still, there was a time when I really liked all the characters and that isn't true for me now. I do look forward to GF's arrival though. I think she might spice things up.

This still scares me. I can't get excited one because it's tied to Cane's return (and Lily is AMAZING without him), second because I can't imagine what this means for Jill, Ashley and Nikki's screentime. Especially if Genie proves the slightest bit successful. And no matter what she does she'll be hailed a huge success.
