Wonder Woman

Anyone know the background of the guy who created Wonder Woman? He was the inventor of the polygraph who lived with two women in a polyamorous relationship.

Charles Moulton (William Moulton Marston was a strange guy. He was a psychologist but he had a lot of kinky issues to be one imo. He was into bondage and submission and wrote that into the early WW stuff. I think he had this idea that through submission everyone can find happiness or something. Then it gets a little deep because WW is stronger than everyone else. According to wikipedia this is his quote:

The only hope for peace is to teach people who are full of pep and unbound force to enjoy being bound ... Only when the control of self by others is more pleasant than the unbound assertion of self in human relationships can we hope for a stable, peaceful human society. ... Giving to others, being controlled by them, submitting to other people cannot possibly be enjoyable without a strong erotic element".[7]

About male readers, he later wrote: "Give them an alluring woman stronger than themselves to submit to, and they'll be proud to become her willing slaves!"

Totally miscast. Really, the whole idea kinda stunk.

The lone exception being Elizabeth Hurley cast as a prime time villainess. If only there was a viable prime time soap being launched, Hurley is the heir apparent to Joan Collins' fur trimmed turban.

This is what she would have looked like in the shorts. Sorry but I think the whole thing looks awful, AP was miscast IMO

She has a softer look, but I've never seen her act so I couldn't comment on that. I'm not sure that she's striking enough though or as amazonian as I'd like. Lynda Carter just seemed so perfect in the role. The right height, body, etc.

Having seen her on Smallville, she's a great actress with a natural charisma. She was one of my choices for WW

They should have cast Erica as WW. She is perfect for her and that costume fits her body perfectly. Love it. I like the new costume a lot. It's a fitting update.

As Smallville went on I liked her more but I thought she looked a lot older than the character was supposed to be. She does look younger in the shot from Harry's Law.
