Guza's Future at GH in Question

We're hearing that Robert Guza, Jr. is on his way out as GENERAL HOSPITAL's head writer. ABC Daytime doesn't comment on rumors, but an insider tells us there's a good chance it's true.

A litte too late. The show is almost destroyed. I don't believe it can be saved, especially if only the HW changes ans the rest of TIIC stay. Also, I doubt it is even true.

I doubt Guza would go to AMC. He sees himself as being above soaps and my guess is if he's not at GH he would go to no others. He didn't stay at any other soap for long at all.

I'm not sure why this would have happened, since the show has had worse ratings periods than this and no one spoke of him going. Is this some sort of money issue?

I just can't imagine him going, although I hope it's true. Frons would still be there to destroy things but at least it might mean some sort of fresh voice, and hopefully, less of the pathetic Jason worship.

He flopped Brenda's return really bad and this Jake storyline is getting such backlash. I think there was probably a number of things.

Yeah that's what I was thinking JP. I think the Gooze used up all his free passes. People thought Frons would never fire Pratt from AMC either, but I think that came from higher up and if this is true it came from higher up as well.

It's probably to late to save GH, no matter who does the writing. STAY AWAY FROM AMC!!!

If this was a Sweeney decision, then I'd love to know why she's let it (ABC Daytime as a whole) get this far before actually doing her job.
