Members All My Shadows
Was AMC's Mardi Gras thing from 2006 supposed to be a masquerade party? I can't remember.
Members CSF
Guiding Light did a masquerade ball in 1984 when Alex was introduced and when Philip found out Alan was not his biological father. They did one again in 1986 when Alan returned. Oh and I believe General Hospital did one in 1997 or 1998 when Katherine Bell fell from the parapet at Wyndemere. Members DRW50
AW had the Lumina ball in late 1998, hosted by the Lumina corporation. Chris wore a wig, mask and rubbery dress posing as the advice lady he wrote as, Felicia had an elaborate getup, etc. I have scans of that somewhere. These are from AWHP. http://www.igs.net/~awhp/ffat6.jpg http://www.igs.net/~awhp/ffat8.jpg

Members Paul Raven
Not so much a masquerade ball, but Days had the opening of Shenanigans in 81 and everyone came in costume, That night Mary Anderson was killed and Jake was revealed as the Salem Strangler!! Goldensoaps, what were the stories behind The Secret Storm's costume parties?
Members RomeAt50
There was one on AMC in 1989. There are clips of it on youtube. Here is a link to a clip.
Members Khan
To this day, I'm still pissed about AMC's Mardi Gras explosion. Not because of who got killed (didn't care for James Scott), but b/c it was clear Megan McTavish finally got to do with Janet what she had wanted to do before the Murrah Building bombing happened and wrecked her plans. And she relished it, too.
