Me neither, I'd love to know the details. Although, I do get the impression that its from their big egos. I know EB has a huge ego and I'm sure Bergman had one too, coming right off of AMC.

I think it was a fight over who's prettier

I read an article about from a 1992 SOD magazine when it originally happened, and the fluff explanation was that it was an argument over a scene that escalated into a physical fight.

My so-called "joke theory" was that Bergman probably made a pass at Braeden, and Braeden punched him in retaliation. It's not true, of course, but it is funny when you think about it, lol.

From my personal experience as I interviewed a few people, Jeanne Cooper is incredibly nice. Same goes for David Lago, Tina Sloan, Nancy Curlee, Richard Backus, Emily O'Brien, ...

From what I remember, Braeden was not following the script and Bergman said something like

"Learn your lines old man, STICK TO THE SCRIPT!"

The stick to the script part is verbatim, the rest is close..

Little did he know, 20 years later Braeden would still make up his own lines.
