Members jam6242
Days had three Erics---Eric Peters (in the 70s), Eric Brady (Shawn, Sr.'s brother), and Sami's twin Eric Brady. This is really an oldie, but I remember a Dr. Henry Pinkham on General Hospital in the 70s.
Members Paul Raven
Y&R also had a few Steves over the years,Paul's long forgotten brother and both Ashley and Traci married a Steve.
Members EricMontreal22
Loving had two prominent Tonys, albeit a decade apart (and I don't think the second Tony was on Loving long at all, he was being built up for The City). Did AMC have two Pilars? There was the woman who fell in love with Cliff when he was lost in the jungles in the 80s, and I swear the woman who came back into Pierce's life was a Pilar too (again from the South American jungles? LOL)
Members Cheap21
Pierce's former lover was named Christina Surpised this wasnt mentioned as I forgot about it too, but GH had Rick Webber and a year later created Ric Lansing
Members Vizion
Oh I know, I just like Victoria, Nikki, Nick and Victoria the most (not the characters mind you)
Members darraholic
SoapNet did not create Being Erica.
Members LoyaltoAMC
Not to mention the fact that GH had a family named Lansing in the late 70s. There was Gina Dante Lansing, Howard Lansing, and I think Gary Lansing???
Members Paul Raven
OK that is a new twist-characters who had the same surname but were not related. I can think of three offhand. AMC Claudette Montgomery and later Travis and Jackson Montgomery. GL Jackie Marler's maiden name was Scott and her father Emmett Scott was on the show. A decade earlier Ben and Maggie Scott were major characters. Maggie had an affair with Bill Bauer. Y&R Victoria had a boyfriend Brandon Collins. Then sharon and Doris Collins were introduced. Members AlexElizabeth
OLTL had Sheila/Ben/Rika Price in the 90s. Now we have Darren/Theo Price. I'm assuming they're not related.
Members Cheap21
GH A few years back they introduced Cooper Barrett, who had no relation to Brenda and Julia Barrett. People speculated that he could be their brother as around the same time some mysterious woman showed up on Nightshift but nothing ever materialized
Members All My Shadows
ATWT had Grant Colman in the 70s, and of course Henry and Maddie Coleman in the 2000s. Different spellings, but I always hoped that they'd make a connection between the two. When AMC couldn't decide who Di was, at one point they were calling her Diana Cole, which made my naive self think that she'd be related to Kelly Cole. Members dragonflies
What's the most unique name used on soaps? Is it Greenlee? Maybe Colby?
Members Vizion
Thorne or Ridge probably
Members Cheap21
I would say Greenlee out of these. Colby, Thorne, and Ridge all sound semi-normal but Greenlee is a name I can only see on a soap If someone were to name their child Greenlee in real life, Id have to think they lost their damn mind. Not so much for the other
Members dragonflies
Yeah Thorne or Ridge don't seem that unique to me.
