Credit goes to DontStare for posting these at Soapcentral:

Was Zach Murdered? AM and VI are interviewed. After learning the casino sales never got to be finalized, Ryan begins to suspect Zach's casino enemies murdered him. Ryan doesn't want to tell Kendall anything until he gets full proof evidence. VI hopes that Ryan does so it'll be one less thing David can be blamed for. If it was the casino guys it could have happened while he was at a gas station. AM concurs. Kendall blames David for Zach being on the plane, if it was the casino guys it could change her dynamic with David. Then there's the whole fact that Kendall still doesn't remember shooting David. There's more to come.

There's a picture of Annie over an unconscious Marissa checking if she's breathing.

Scott receives a get out of jail free card from Greenlee! Madison is pregnant and if Ryan knew he'd get involved. Greenlee doesn't want anything standing in her way with Ryan. She just wants Scott to keep Madison busy and see what happens. DK says Scott is not trying to seduce her as much as he's just trying to get his life started again.

Damon and Liza have sex which shakes-up the Martin clan and Liza's plans to fix things with Colby. This will lead to Damon's exit very soon, permanent for now. Tad tries to fix this for Damon but he can't. This will ultimately draw Tad into the story with Jake, Amanda and Cara. Cara will become somebody he confides in and there may be more at some point. Tad will take big steps to protect Cara who Amanda inadvertingly gets into trouble. Jake will reamined pulled into Cara's drama despite Tad's prescense.

DK talks about JR/Annie. It's an extended version of the 2011 spoilers for them - scorpions, one or the other is going to self-destruct no matter how hard they try. DK says JR is like Adam, he wants BOTH the hot excitement (Annie) & he also wants the Dixie element (Marissa) - the woman who can be a good mother and save his soul.

Wk 1/10: Cara agrees to work at Kendall's home. Brotalia step things up. Frandi worry about Mads proximity to Ryan. Marissa takes a hit.

Wk 1/17: Amanda confesses her trangression to Griff. Erica tries to cover for Kendall. Ryan pops a question. Brotalia go public. Colby/Damon make a decision.

How DARE Kreizman compare Marissa to Dixie. WTH? She is not even close to the person that Dixie was. She is nothing but a potted plant twat who came from a sleazy massage parlor and got lucky with her out of nowhere connection to Babe & Krystal, which set her ashore in a circle of rich people. What a freaking joke this whole story is turning out to be. Kreijeski digging up the triangle yet again just to prop up nuMarissa. Whatever.

Will never understand how they even got this job. They ruined one soap only to come on another and follow the same path.

Oooooo Tad/Cara I love their interaction but something more down the line with the duo? No, for now. I'd want to see more before I give a resounding Yay/Nay.

Oh I say calm down. I'm no Marissa fan and still very much undecided about nuMarissa but writers always talk this way, it's nothing new. And in his defence I think it makes sense in the story that now that JR is increeasingly seeing the needy side of Annie--and the danger taboo element with her is fading, he's torn between that and the nurturing side of Marissa--which is Dixie like. Also I think with Annie becoming more and more dependant on him, he's missing being ablke to be dependant on someone else which was his whole thing with Marissa.

But I guess I'm alone :P

Some additional casting news/blind items from the new SOD:

"Who's Coming":

Debbi Morgan's Angie will share scenes with Shannon Kane's Natalia on January 14th, before her personal leave commences.

So even though she has been pretty much been MIA for months now, the effects of her several-months long personal leave haven't even started to be felt yet! How the heck can David Kreizman claim that she will be back in time for the Hubbard baby to be born!?

"Stuff We Know and Shouldn't Tell You":

Though most cast members cheered when the headwriter of their show was dumped, one actress confesses to SOD that she hasn't been happy with the change, as she has barely worked under the new regime.

The above has to be AMC-related since no other show has had a regime change. My first two guesses were Jamie Luner or Bobbie Eakes, however there are quotes from Jill Larson elsewhere in the magazine and you can usually determine who a blind item is talking about by looking at who the magazine has been talking to. And Pratt did use Opal quite a bit, and as more than just someone to take the kids off-screen to get cookies.

SOD hears that this big-time star is looking for a way out of his/her contract

May or may not be AMC-related, but Debbi Morgan came to mind.

And finally, an AMC insider tells SOD that the show is focusing on integrating all its new characters and is not pursuing any fan-favorites to return. The shows wants to make Michael Nouri the new patriarch and expand the Castillo's.

I like Caleb just fine but he has not by any means put in the years to be this show's patriarch. If ANYbody is going to be this show's new patriarch it should be Jesse emmer-effing Hubbard! Suck out the foolishness and inject some Joe Martin into him and make it happen! Recast Natalia, bring back Cassi, I don't care, but Caleb before Jesse or even Jackson (who I'm not even a fan of) is an insult. And that line about Caleb and expanding the Castillos leads me back to the question I've been asking since Griffin and Cara wre announced, is he gonna be their daddy or what?? I still feel that coming.

Agreed with the last few comments. I think overall K/S have done a better job than past AMC writers lately in integrating the new characters. It's not like the Fords on OLTL... But I don't see why we can't have returns of faves (or at the least some decent recasts of important characters like Petey, etc who woul dhelp build up the canvas) as well.

I still don't buy the belief many have (and I get why they do) that Debbi Morgan wnats out of her contract--she's always seemed to be one of the keener people about the move and working despite her living situation--BUT I'm liekwise surprised (and a bit disappointed) that considering she hasn't been on much the past week and a bit, I was sure her leave of absense had already started... Didn't someone else say she was already back at set?

And yeah I could see the actress not being too thrilled with the new writers being Jill/Opal. One thing Pratt did well was to use her a lot (even if it was a bit too much to always foretell doom...)

    • Elliot is SOOOOO tasty in this period. He's so wicked. One of the reasons I stayed on with the show when I began watching.
    • I can get through another 10 to 20 episodes. April is such a compelling character. The actress just owns the screen. I think this is also why I'm annoyed by Draper. Margo and April are so fantastic that Draper is a wet blanket (except for one scene which I mention below).   Draper was bearable in his scenes with Logan because he was not whining about the house. If he has more scenes with Logan, I can tolerate him. As of now, he's just very one note. Everyone has had more to do.  Thank you for explaining about Raven's backstory and her connection to Draper. It clears things up. Logan explained things a bit in the convo with Draper, but there was still some things I was not sure of. Gabet and Kibbee are just sensational. I now see why people adore Sharon Gabet. How did AW squander her talents? SMH.  It's the way Draper is written. I'm drawn to Eliot who is a total cheating pig. The writing and the performance are first-rate. Draper is stomping around like a spoiled child and I don't have the benefit of seeing April and Draper's relationship from the beginning so this is my first intro to Draper. He's annoying as can be. ========== There's also an African-American police officer who's struggling to walk again. He's Steve's partner. He took his first steps. I can't tell if they are writing him off or if he's going to say. I hope he stays because the actor is quite charismatic.
    • Oh no!  Did you not like the Susan character? She intrigued me from that one episode I skimmed through. What didn't you like about her?
    • The eternal dream...him begging to get with her included.
    • On the other hand, I still find episodes of TV with people smoking in front of babies shocks me into nervous giggles.
    • Word of advice... you have to view the show without the 2025 lenses.. which means you need to 86 the misandry.
    • i love reading other posters alternate takes and scenarios. Yours would have really upped the tension.
    • Amanda is not my cup of tea. That's all I'm gonna say. She's repetitive and childish. She acts like a brat with her parents and has this constant "I'm not satisfied or happy" look on her face. The actress is okay in my opinion. I'm not impressed by anything I've seen her do so far. But she's okay.  BUT Amanda's repetitive scenes with Sam are the ones that I want to fast-forward the most. They just have 2  topics they like to talk about... and it's always "You are infringing on my right to be a powerful career woman! I need to be outside dating men for a job, so I can WORK and prove I'M NOT A RICH GIRL ONLY!" and he's like "You and your family are buying me a career and I don't want it! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO STRUGGLE and be poor and you guys ARE denying me the opportunity by giving it all on a silver platter" This is their main storyline for me... and it's just annoying when it's the same every single episode. It's a fake struggle that I don't buy. These people are so spoiled by this point and have everything... don't make me suffer listening to them bicker how amazing their life is, so they are unhappy about that. Just a personal view. I'm not saying THIS IS the situation. My view is also restricted, since I'm only 4-5 months into the episodes.
    • It's shocking to see Steffy look down on anyone. She was the new generation HO for years. I mean... she was nasty and using sex to seduce married-engaged-in-relationship-men all the time. She was embracing it fully. Bradley was accenting on the fact that Taylor's daughter had become Brooke 2. I remember how disgusting it was when she was using Hope's virginity to her advantage and offering to f-ck the guys that wanted Hope. It was ABSURDLY nasty.  Then couple of years ago Bradley decided we should forget about it and made Steffy BECOME her grandmother. IN AN INSTANT. There was no build up to it. Which aged the f-ck out the character and made her unbearable. Because it's one thing to see an actual matriarch, older woman doing these things, being a moral judge... but it's complete joke to see the ex-ho acting like this. Ex-ho that is still incredibly young and has no right acting like she is better that anyone or... a moral JUDGE. Steffy and Hope's personalities got swapped!!! That's the irony of it. So any time these gang-style of fans come attacking Hope... for acting like a "slut"... I pinch myself - their HEROINE Steffy was doing this HARCORE. Are these people oblivious or just pretending not to remember. How can you stan a moral judge... that attacks "sluts" and also stan the same type of behavior you are attacking... years ago. How does this happen. But I repeat myself at this point.  I agree with everything you said 100000 percent. It's the truth. At least in my eyes.
