Normally placement of characters in new/updated openings means something from a storyline perspective. So anyone notice that Scott is not with the rest of the Chandler clan? Madison is not with the Rylee clan? Madison/Scott are together... as are Liza/David... could we have new couples in 2011? :)

Erica and Jack are way way apart in that opening.

Ack. Please don't start that discussion. I saw some of the most insipid fortune-telling from people after OLTL's new opening debuted. People were seeing everything from upcoming stories to contract disputes. Other than family ties, I think it's all just a snapshot in time. Wasn't Dre in the opening about four times as long as he was on the show? At the rate ABC hires and fires people, half the people in this opening could be gone in a year.

Upon another viewing you can automatically tell who AMC values the most. Erica and the rest of the airhogs of course comes first with prolonged shots when the second half of the cast briskly passes by in comparison. Angie's shot is really short and if you blinked you missed it. She should have been shown more prominently.

It's a shame AMC dropped the photo album aspect. That has been the AMC motif all these years in one way or another, and while not as prominent as DOOL's hourglass, it still was something that helped give the credits a little bit of an identity. It's not bad, but it isn't great.

Ouch. The slaps hurt but Im at least thankful every day that Im not bumping into any walls or misplaced furniture. Why? Because I can see!
