Something about her Hee Haw accent has always annoyed me. Anyway, I forget now, but didn't she come on as Krystle Carey, some sort of homage to Krystle Carrington? I forget what that was all about. I never really cared for her or her daughter, Love, except for at the very beginning when they were money grubbing trash.

Caleb trying to protect Kendall rolleyes.gif WTH was he doing at the hospital anyways? I thought him waltzing in and getting all grim with Griffin was pathetic. And AMC made sure Erica saw him and Kendall hugging, I'm sure Caleb scored some points in her book now. Those scenes just seemed so forced to me. The Jack/Kendall scenes later on in the episode were a lot better. I was surprised by Jack in those scenes, they were great..

I think Jake and Cara have a lot of chemistry, I enjoy them together. When they were walking into Krystal's together I thought they looked like such a great pair. The flashbacks are cool and I didn't think I would, but I really kind of dig them together. So far I think AMC is doing a great job with this S/L. I love how they are balanicing out all the points of views of each character involved. Cara is a great addition to the show, it's interesting seeing her realization that Jake has really moved on...looking forward to finding out why she left him.

Randi is a class act, loved when she was helping out Madison.

Not all of us! sad.gif

I would love it to. Wouldn't it be amazing? I think so much more story could be mined out of that. I still have a strong feeling that this is how it will turn out.

The doctor said Madison was 7 weeks along, the spoiler I read about this said the doctor would say 3 months? I hope it all sums up to 3 months in soap time because that would fit perfectly with the night of Caleb's party, when Madison was drunk and Frankie comforted her and then did who knows what else ;-D

I really liked their scenes to. I could see them as friends. I loved Kendall's compassion with Madison..

:) I'm loving Randi all of a sudden.

I think Lindsay's acting is different in the flashbacks than in the present. Maybe it's just cause she's not as sad in the flashbacks. Either way, more flashback Cara and less real-time Cara, please.

PS, is it bad I'm kind of hoping Lindsay eats the show, if only to keep Budig from continuing to do so? Greenlee was so god-awful today.

I really liked the Jake/Cara scenes yesterday. Imo, they have good chemistry and RPG isn't annoying at all when he sticks to the script. They need to order him to stop adlibbing!

Still crossing my fingers that her OB/GYN got the dates wrong.

Me too!

I guess I'm the only one who loved Erica in this episode! Her comments to Greenlee were spot on since Greens initiated the plot to marry David and she was right to point out that Jack hasn't been supportive of Kendall at all.

    • Right. Literally for decades, soaps mesmerized their audiences with tales of romance, family conflict, class struggles, and recognizable interpersonal-relationship sagas. We didn't need relentless, heavy violence. We didn't need clones, mad scientists, extra-terrestrials and demon possessions. We didn't need gaggles of plastic himbos and bimbos pushing beloved vets off-screen. We only needed to see people whom we cared about, and the intelligent, moving progression of their lives. Flashy sets, gaudy gimmicks, and high-falutin' hairdos be damned. The characters and the words were important.
    • Absolutely! Brad should've simply moved on from Lunacy. There's no point of freeing her, if you're not going to at least make an attempt at redemption or incorporating her into the fold. It happened with Quinn, who committed quite a few felonies before become the Forrester Matriarch.  Heck, keep Lunacy in prison and have Poppy/Finn discover that she gave birth to twins - 'Sunny' could've come on with a clean slate and still had Sheila/Finn and all the other drama. It certainly couldn't have been worse than what we've witnessed with the destruction of $B.
    • I would enjoy it if Swan popped up on BTG as an old one time friend/mentor of Anita’s for a cameo. This is just

    • I had totally forgotten that Courtney story. I see Burton was already phoning it in by that point.
    • omg I completely missed that, but now when I see it typed here in your post, it's obvious icky cringe. So now I just checked and Tomas said that -- on May 27 that he likes the author Carl Ivati.  He said it with sort of an accent, so I didn't catch the stupid joke or think about the spelling.   I remember when that aired, that I actually said to myself at the time, "I wonder if that's a Latin American author, and I will have to google him later." And now I see your post, and I see. Well that's cringe, and I feel stupid to have fallen for it.

    • There's a lot you don't need if you have the writing.  You don't even need large casts!  You could make do with a cast of 12-18 actors if the writing is there.
    • Thank you. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping around if your spouse actually knows about it. She’s just a cheating slut.
    • OMG...Robert Mandan! And Donna Mills is a child. I keep hoping for more of early Ross/Vanessa.
    • I get your point, but I also know that if the roles were reversed -- if a man were screwing around on a woman this way -- everyone would be all "All with his head!" When I say Vanessa needs therapy, I'm actually being kind, because I could begin and end with the fact that she's a cheating slut.
