but then again considering that David's return from the dead was centered around Rylee, I'm kind of glad it didn't draw in viewers in droves.

David's return didn't happen until the end of the 11/22 episode. The week of 11/15 was more preface to impact in both the R/G/D story and the Zach's death story.

I agree with everything you said. But OLTL BARELY beat AMC and GH, the differences in the ratings are so -small- between all 3 ABC shows. GH always bounces back. AMC showed some life, I am curious if it can get some momentum in the 18-49.

I think there was about a 5,000 total viewers difference between the 3 soaps.

If AMC isn't able to do something further with what they started on that ratings week I don't know what to say. Whatever the writing was or wasn't, they put together a string of explosive moments going into this week. GH needed a butt load of special Brenda/Dante commercials to just go into 2.4 to 2.5 million territory in viewers for just a week or two so I'm not thinking an up for last weeks AMC is even a guarantee.

... AMC still not making a dent in the demos with all the Rylee pimping, on the other, I hate to think AMC has hit the point where it can't rise again, but then again considering that David's return from the dead was centered around Rylee, I'm kind of glad it didn't draw in viewers in droves.

LOL! You and I feel the same way except that you're so sweetly tentative about it while I will proudly state that as long as this show continues to pimp Rylee at the expense of everything else, I don't care if they cancel it tomorrow. In fact I'd have no problem walking into that studio with an eviction order and a team of repo men and telling everyone they had an hour to pack. (Except for SuLu, Vincent, Jill, Debbie, Darnell and MEK. I'd give them the day.)

I simply don't have enough loyalty towards any show to reward the level of hubris and incompetence AMC is currently guilty of.

Crapola ratings for all shows. Not a big surprise....a 1.8 now gets you 3rd place.

GH may be the least watched show but OLTL still has the lowest HH number.

AMC finally went up in demos....I saw last week and enjoyed some of it but still thought the David return was so lame.

There really is no big difference in ratings from 3rd to 6th place...The ABC soaps have almost the same pathetic rating.

Yeah AMC got a little bump!!! Oh & these numbers are not for the week of David's return. That week was the Rylee :jeal0002: reunion & Zach' death.

I'm hoping with Zach dead FINALLY!!!!,..... hopefully we'll move past the wretched "grieving" soon & OTHER characters will have a chance to be on!!!

I guess fans were rejoicing Zach's death. Imagine if they killed off Ryan and Greenlee too....the ratings would hit the roof!

Imagine if they killed off Ryan

Oooh, I may actually start watching this horrible show again. Just can't do it with the Ryape hogging the screen.

AMC has shot itself in the foot again. Thing about it is, they're too stupid to know they're bleeding to death.

Thanks for compiling those numbers, TeamEric. Wasn't August OLTL's worst month of the year so far?
