October 19, 201213 yr Member Derek was a "young" (on paper, anyway) man Jill met when she went to work at a beauty salon, or something. Jill fell in love with him. Katherine met him and soon fell in love with him herself, buying him his own salon, and reuniting him with his son. He loved Jill but grew to love Katherine, and of course her money. Jill moved on, while still having feelings for him. Meanwhile, his crazy ex Suzanne came to town and began poisoning Katherine, before having her committed. Katherine was presumed dead in a fire at the institution, and began gaslighting Suzanne, with the help of Liz Foster. After this Derek left on his own, I'm not sure what his exit was. Oh, so they were married? In the picture, Jeanne Cooper is identified as playing Katherine Thurston in the caption. Are those episodes on You Tube? I'd love to see those.
