The Horton Christmas ornaments are IMO the most important relics/symbols of the entire show. I wonder how many of us have initiated similar traditions with our families - I know I have and I love seeing the names of my children on the tree every year.

Interesting little bit from Missy on the ornaments at the Days of Days thing today - they are the original hand-painted ornaments every year and when the box comes by they all move away so nothing happens. I loved the reverence with which she spoke of them, and I'm sure all of those playing Hortons over the years remember the many hands that have passed over those globes.

Yes. I wish Bill or Marie, especially Marie, could return for this. It would be nice! Oh well. I will definitely watch this episode though. I haven't viewed since July, but the things I have been hearing about storylines with Caroline, and the upcoming holiday stuff have had me gravirating towards watching again.

Bill I could see to stay. He's got amazing chemistry with Kate, two grandchildren he doesn't know, a daughter who's newly back in town, a hospital that could use an actual COS and he'd have no end of opinions on Maggie's life.

Marie has only limited connections at the moment and I can't see her around for anything more than a visit. But even at that I'd love to see her. Marie was always my favourite Horton Sib.

I wish they would bring on Marie and Bill on a recurring basis. Maree Cheatham looks fantastic and she's the last ORIGINAL Horton sibling left and John Martin worked surprisingly well as Bill back in June. Why can't they use them like they use Doug, Julie, Adrienne and Justin?

    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
    • You've been seeing him all along. You just didn't know it was him, I guess.

    • Where to for Dana? She's pissed off the Duprees (most of the cast), alienated her daughter and will she be welcomed by the Have Nots at the diner? Maybe she can befriend Ashley and Derek and liven up their story.
