Members soapfave06
Well deserved too! I loved the premiere. I've been watching nothing but TWD this past week.
Members DRW50
Damn. I was not expecting that at all, especially since the promos after the midseason finale let it be clear that Daryl was still alive and outside of Woodbury. That's fantastic. Now will AMC increase their budget, please?????
Members London
AMC will just give it to Mad Men... like always.
Members ChitHappens
DAYUM! Fantastic! Carl, that just means more money for the putrid Mad Men.
Members DRW50
Even Jon Hamm's crotch isn't worth that much money. It's time for AMC to bring in showrunner #9483, who turns out to be a power-hungry, scheming genius who has just the right set of photos to open up the exec checkbooks

Members Eric83
Everytime I see the numbers go higher and higher it makes me want to check out the show. Wonder if they'll break The Sopranos record or High School Musical 2.
Members gtru1981
Mad Men is a failure like 30 Rock! Just bc u win awards doesn't mean people will watch! I bet Network Tv must be scratching their heads! This show keeps raising, while pretty much except the BBT is failing. Members gtru1981
Jon Hamm isn't popular. He is on a show that averages 2 million movies and isn't a A list movie actor. He falls into the wannabe SNL crew list.
Members Eric83
And NCIS which looks like it will be 1st for the 2012-2013 season for the first time in it's 10th season on air.
Members DRW50
I think he is probably known more in the mainstream than his show is, just because of his looks, but I was mostly just joking because of his habit of noticeably freeballing and getting attention for that reason.
Members Ann_SS
Amazing ratings! 6.1 in the 18 to 49 demo. The Walking Dead is a beast. Talking Dead got 2.1 in the demo. Edited February 11, 2013 by Ann_SS
Members DRW50
I just wish the cast got more recognition. I feel like if a show is too small in the ratings or too big in the ratings, or not known as being in the right genre, then they get no respect. I watch mostly Supernatural and TWD in primetime and I think the quality of acting is much higher on both than they get credit for. I become irritated when I see someone say that TWD is popular because of zombies - zombies have become a less and less prominent part of TWD as the ratings keep rising. This show has some fine, fine acting. Melissa McBride alone gives a better performance than half the primetime shows out there now.
Members gtru1981
That's better than many shows in Primetime!
