I don't keep track of flashbacks to know if that has already aired, but seeing that precious moment in such high quality is a treat.

It wasn't well received at all. It was a complete bastardization of one of the best, most complex characters the show ever had. Complete trash.

That mid-80s reappearance of Linda has always fascinated me. She was such a character of the more grounded first era of the show, so her existing in that heightened 80s world (along with people like Don, Neil, Marie) intrigues me.

Bringing back Linda as a complication in Melissa's life was a great idea. Making her a... madam (?!) was a lot.

Full Days episode April 10, 1984 (Link)
it's labeled as Christmas 1984 but someone in the comments provided the correct 4/10/84 airdate.
Goes with @JAS0N47 episode summaries for the correct date.

Someone in the comments said the brunette was Elinor Donahue, but that's wrong. Donahue played Stefano employee Kate Honeycutt but she didn't start airing until several months after this episode.

Thanks to Jason's info, this is actress Shirley DeBurgh as Delia Abernathy.

JACOB MARTINEZ UPDATE...

I've seen conflicting reports on the new Javi's age. From my research, he was born 11/18/97, so he's 28.

Was that the entire, on-contract cast at DAYS during that time?

Was that the entire, on-contract cast at DAYS during that time? (I must have fouled up and didn't quote correctly, sorry!)

The 9 of them, yes. It was still only 12 contract (Tom, Alice, Mickey, Bill, Laura, Julie, Doug, Greg, Bob, Maggie, Phyllis and Mike) in March 1975 until the show expanded to 60 minutes in April 1975. Then they put Amanda, Neil, Robert, Linda, Don, David and Rebecca on contract throughout the rest of 1975. They were at 19 contract in December 1975.

This page on my site has all the info on the contract cast through the years, including monthly contract cast lists for every month since 1982, so enjoy!
