Damn that’s Wild! But tbf Lisa is quite „weird“ herself. It’s hard to tell these days when she’s telling the truth or nah. But I do believe her story.

so technically RKK was a real life Stavros Cassadine lol

The stories about RKK on DAYS go back a long way, along with claims that Rinna and Kristian got him fired (Rinna was about to leave so I'd guess Kristian was the main force - she has never been anybody you [!@#$%^&*] with).

Yeah, I 110% believe Lisa on this. There's been stories about RKK from both DOOL and Another World. I don't think it's a coincidence he got the boot once Kristian Alfonso got back - she definitively would've had the power to get him fired pronto. It's a shame from a story perspective, because as I said it took away any question who Bo would end up with.

But of course, his abusive ass deserved to get booted. It's just a shame it didn't happen earlier to maybe establish something between Lisa and Peter Reckell before Kristian made her comeback as Hope.

I recall reading that, during RKK's first stint on Another World as Sam Fowler, he threw a chair at Sandra Ferguson (Amanda), and that is why Charles Grant's Evan Bates and Amanda started their affair, as she no longer wanted to work with him (RKK, obviously!). Gee, I can't imagine why!

Which makes me disgusted that RKK continued to get roles after s.hit like this.

Per the newest issue of SAG-AFTRA's memorial list, "Days" actors Trent Dolan and Jeff Eagle died in 2025. Dolan (5/5/38-7/14/25), who played Allen Hamlin for 13 episodes in 1980 and Commissioner Samuels for 3 episodes in 1992, died on July 14, 2025 at the age of 87, while Eagle (4/26/47-11/29/25), who played Will Robbins for 19 episodes from 1984-1985, died on November 29, 2025 at the age of 78.

Thanks @JAS0N47

Not sure if it is accurate but IMDB also has Eagle playing Lester for two episodes in 1991.

Yes, that's accurate, but I only list 5+ episode characters to make the memorial list. Trent Dolan as Commissioner Samuels for 3 episodes made the list, since overall Commissioner Samuels was in more than 5 episodes.

Thanks. I didn't realize. That makes a lot of sense.

Same goes for Trent Dolan. He played Private Detective in 1987 and Private Detective Steele in 1988, but I didn't list those roles, just like I didn't list Lester for Jeff Eagle. Mainly because we don't know all the small roles they may have played on Days from the mid 70s to mid 90s, when paperwork and credits are severely lacking for those two decades for many guest roles.

FROM THE VAULT: 50 YEARS AGO TODAY: EPISODE # 2594...MARCH 10, 1976

At Bayview Sanitarium, Dr. Powell tries once again to establish rapport with Mickey. Mickey is resentful of the doctor, and his hostility forces Powell to suggest a replacement therapist. Mickey is determined to remain calm in Powell's presence. Discouraged by his inability to get through to Mickey, Powell talks to Bill, who has been waiting outside Mickey's room. Bill is concerned about Mike visiting Mickey and asks permission to speak with Mickey. Meanwhile, Laura has been called back to Brookeville Hospital where Mike is tossing fitfully, fighting a high temperature.

Still in her Phoenix motel room, Trish finally receives a phone call from James Stanhope. He's pleasant and nice, wants very much to see her. Trish can hardly contain her excitement as she says she'll wait for him to make the arrangements. Stanhope then calls his lawyer for an appointment. Later, Stanhope comes to Trish's motel room, tries to size up the girl and her motives. Trish is pleasant, eager to please him, and elated when he suggests a visit to his lawyer later in the day, assuming the purpose to be to change her name to Stanhope. Trish receives a call from Laura, who tells her of Mike's accident and Mickey. She agrees to fly to Brookeville and Mike immediately. Before leaving, Trish writes a note to her father, explaining the situation, giving her address and phone number, asking for nothing but his love and recognition as his daughter. At the same time, Stanhope is with his lawyer, seeking protection from Trish, who he feels is out to blackmail him.

Linda shows up for work at Don's office, and he's rather surprised to see her. She's ready to resign, certain that Don doesn't want her around after the way she behaved at Mickey's hearing. Don respects her for standing up for Mickey the way she did, and suggests that he be the one to leave. Don didn't care for Mickey's accusations that he's taken over Mickey's practice for his own purposes. Linda comes on strong to him, saying Mickey will appreciate what Don has done. They both agree not to walk out on their obligations.

Bill tells Mickey about Baby Jennifer, and in his confused mind, Mickey thinks it is his and Laura's baby girl. Bill and Mickey continue their talk with Bill wanting to explain how Mike was conceived. Mickey doesn't want to hear it. Bill tells Mickey that Mike will always be able to claim Mickey as his father. Bill calls Brookeville, chastises Laura for being there instead of at home with the baby. He fills her in on his visit with Mickey and that Mickey wants to see Mike as soon as possible. Trish comes into the waiting area at the Brookeville hospital and, while embracing Laura, notices the baby must have been born. She then goes to Mike for a warm reunion.

Is Susan Flannery still Laura?

No she left as soon as the show became an hour in 1975. This is Susan Oliver, who leaves in June, which leads to them bringing in Marlena as a temporary filler until Rosemary Forsyth arrives in August as the new Laura, but instead Marlena ends up staying for over 50 years!
