They have finally changed the credits today. For the first time only the 5 women that are appearing on the show are featured in the opening instead of all 8 of them.

I caught the first couple minutes of the new season. It's weird how this show seems so generic and a dime-a-dozen now. Half the co-hosts are so bland and basic. 

Nothing will reach heights of Rosie versus Elisabeth Hasselbeck feud ratings went through the roof. They should have brought Hasselback back she would have brought ratings

Perfect day for Gary Johnson to be on yesterday...LOL

Why is CCB still on the show? So glad she's off til mid-October.

Honestly i think its Whoopis time to go. This will be her 10th season and the show will go on. They will probably give Joy the full time position of being the moderator after Whoppi exits. I hope the View gives her a goodbye exit she deserves. Honestly i think it would be so cool if Meredith Vieria returned but i highly doubt it.

It's not as though she's leaving now, but after this season. In the meantime, she and ABC may work out a deal where they offer her more free time a la CCB. You never know. If she chooses to leave, I'm sure Joy will move to moderator. I'd like to see Sunny fill in as mod.

Whoopi has needed to go for years. She seems irritated, out of touch and bored for years now. I want her to go back to acting where she is a star. I miss seeing her regularly on tv and in film!

I agree that it's probably time for her to go. Back up the brinks to Meredith's house, but she'd probably never return.

I'd bring in Oprah to be here replacement. Oprah has said lately how much she misses her talk show. She could take days off like Whoopi did the last couple of years.

Oprah would NEVER do this. She's too high brow for the View and quite frankly it would be a downgrade for her to share a panel with a bunch of cackling hens when she has her own network and platform to do her own talk show if she wanted. She's not like a Rosie O'Donnell. Oprah's a boss 

I don't get why they keep CCB either. And LOL at Paula and Raven doing what we all expected, like one episode a week if that. Not complaining about the three of them not being on, it's just predictable and funny.

 

Joy has been thirsting for the moderator chair for some reason and she seems locked in for a few years anyway and they have six thousand co-hosts so they'll be fine. Whoopi probably draws a tiny crowd but she's been checked out and miserable for years now. I'm also tired of her talking over everyone, pushing her point, and then moving on. I often agree with her (to a degree on some things) but it's gotten so bad. It was always there but she gives no [!@#$%^&*] anymore.
