OLTL: Discussion for the week October 4

Trevor St. John's delivery was so off when he came upon Eli at the docks. I nearly ROFL after hearing TSJ say his lines. Will someone in the higher ups please put this man out of his misery and fire his sorry ass? He seems so uninterested.

I didn't get to see today's episode yet, but I have to agree about TSJ, but then I always felt that way about his portrayal of this character.

I suppose the line with Echo to Inez could have just been a wink at GL- but I have a feeling that they might connect them somehow. Before Inez even came in, Echo was looking at Ford... at first I thought it was like a creepy cougar thing, but it almost seemed like she was supposed to recognize him. And Inez.

I hope she's not Inez's mother, and thereby the Ford's grandmother. Please God no. Although with Ford involved with Jessica, and Inez involved with Clint- it wouldn't surprise me to throw in Echo... since she already has history with Viki/Clint, having her be Ford's grandmother would just add to that mix. But it would be overkill with the damn Fords.

I think she'd more likely be related to their dad, either his sister/the boys' aunt, or Papa Ford's youngest aunt/the boys' great aunt. I don't think Kimmie Zimmie's hip to playing JWS's mother.

Soap opera gods save me, I actually started to ship Clint/Viki today. I saw great ES/JVD chemistry and their verbal sparring was so much more entertaining that hang dog doofus Charlie worshipping Viki.

Enjoyed Bo and Nora canoodling. Long overdue romantic scenes for them.

Ugh, Ford is so Jessica's baby daddy, triple ugh.

I couldn't decide who was worse today TSJ or MW. MW takes it because Trevor looks amused by that silly exchange as I was and MW kept trying and failing to sell dangerous menace. MW was dull as sincere romantic leading man but I'll take good Eli over Evil Eli who is Passions-like campy.

Let me get this straight...

Bo, Nora, Charlie, Echo, Viki, Clint, AND Marty are in the SAME EPISODE?! The show had more vets AND people over 40 than not?! WHAT IS HAPPENING, lol

Echo knows Inez. Insta-Ford connection

As others said, just a super lame GL wink wink moment. Rev^H^H^H Echo almost said something about Springfield too.

And yet, they still seemed to get the short end of the episode air time...

^I think that was one of those tongue in cheek things that OLTL does. Reva...er I mean Echo was going to ask Inez if she once lived in Springfield, but before she could finish saying the town's name Charlie came in.

Such an exchange made this GL fan smile, but the stories on this show still stink to high heaven.

We've got Bo, Nora, Clint, Echo, Charlie, and Viki on today? Wow, today might be the first day in months when I actually watch an entire episode of OLTL.

Yeah, like how John was spinning a globe in a scene with Natalie right after ATWT ended.

Word. there woulda been at least SOME more aknowledgement--a glance maybe, or a redundant "I swear I know her" if it was more than a throaway. Reminded me of the AMC 25th anniversary where Tad asked after Liza and was told she moved to somewhere called Springfield...

To an extent I guess but I'm in positive shock they showed Bo and Nora being a couple with no real storyline behind it or being used as props for others. I could see how it could be annoying if you don't like them, i.e. Rex and Gigi over the summer, but at least they're possibly pissing off everyone equally

PS, they keep having Brody and Marty interact. Any chance they could be chem testing them? I mean, Marty needs some man meat.

So why exactly was Ross brought back from the dead to die again?...and why did Eli kill him? I think I missed something.

Eli killed Hope's babysitter? Are f-ing kidding me? This [!@#$%^&*] is BEYOND ridiculous

I cant beleive it took Todd and Danielle a half hour to call the cops. Seriously, Todd finds out Eli i alive and is wasting time arguing with his brat.

Did anyone catch the writers' veiled "all black people don't know each other" line via Shaun? ^_^

The acting today was VERY OTT, but I must say, I like that Dani. I think she out-acts her big sis. Well, at least today she did.

The anti-Reva way KZ is purring her lines and affecting a hint of Mid-Atlantic accent is distracting for me. I'm not won over by Echo yet, but I am very glad to see KZ and ES sharing scenes.

I don't know whether to laugh or smh at Darren, I guess I do both. "You holdin' up baby?" He just cracks me up for all the right and wrong reasons.

Yeah, that was terrible and unnecessary. And I think Starr should have been more freaked about that too.

I'm kinda scratching my head on this one too. Why is Dani's uncle so pressed? He's just a useless killing machine mess of a villain, it's time for him to go and be forgotten.
