I once loved Carly, but the writers have deconstructed the character into a disturbing nothingness. She's loud, angry, and dumb as a stone... a lethal combination. I'm sure she has fans who see something different in her. I just don't see it. I think Laura Wright is a very likable actress, and a GOOD actress, so I'm surprised that she was cast in this role just for the writers to take her character down this road.

Well, I'll say it until the cows come home. Laura Wright's ruined this character for me. She's taken a character who was this underdog from the wrong side of the tracks who did hurtful things to people out of her own deep self-loathing... and turned her into this heartless bitch who takes pleasure in hurting people because she's queen and always wins. No vulnerability, no softness, no compassion. And I don't even go for the "it's the writing" band-aid. To me, it's the sign of a lazy actor.

As much as I dog Maurice and his "Mumble, yell, throw glass! Here's your Emmy" approach, he at least knows how to show more than one note in scenes like Sonny lying about planting the car bomb.

There's no such thing as "on recurring." Recurring just means "we'll call you if we want to use you." It's not an actual status, so an actor can't be taken off of it.

I was just saying that Jackie Zeman, Annie Ilonzeh, Carloyn Hennesy, Adrianne Leon, Dahlia Salem, etc. are all recurring actors/characters, and all have a bio. So I was asking if anyone knew if there had been any confirmation that the character of Lesley wouldn't be returning at all anymore? Because she has no bio, which she used to.

Vanessa looks great! But so far Brenda's return has been boring. Hope next week is better.

Jason is clearly very anti-homo as a character. And Spinelli clearly has a lot of sexual desire towards him.....Jason's homophobeia has been evident lately, especially if you look at the scenes he had with that Conan guy. Maybe it was just me, but he seemed really...uncomfortable around him.

And in the old episode from 2002 (Brenda and Jason's wedding) Brenda and Jason were in an elevator at the chapel, and two men walked in, and it was hinted somewhat that they were gay, and Jason pushed brenda in front of him and backed away....I never noticed that until the rerun.

That line made me laugh too. And I was happy when it happened. Brenda deserved it foor ruining Skye's marriage without a second thought.

Carly does need a life, but i LOVE Brook, therefore I am tolerating Carly for bringing Brook back.

The homophobia is probably more Steve Burton than Jason Morgan.

I don't think Spinelli has sexual desire towards Jason. I don't think the show would let that go out. They probably see Spinelli as idolizing Jason because Jason is in his mind this big tough stoic man -- what Spinelli will never be.
