John J. York is sorta DILFy now, but he was fine as hell in '96.

He is a very,v ery good looking man.

Chris Whitsell is underrated, IMO. He is a jobbing HW for transition periods, kind of like Beth Millstein and Carolyn Culliton. However, he has done solid work (I thought) for longer periods at Sunset Beach and Days. Of course, he really cut his teeth over at AW, during a golden era of the late-80s-early 90s. A good foundation.

I often wonder if real Vegas chapels get offended by the cheesy way they've been portrayed on TV and in movies forever.

Jason/Sonny used to have scorching chemistry, but now, not so much. Jason left Sonny for the flavor of the month (James).

Have you been to Vegas chapel? A lot are not that cheesy, but there are def the ones that are.

I think that's why I got so excited when Laura Wright first started out as Carly, because we finally got to see her do something other than obey Sonny or be some tragic heroine.

The problem is that "bitch" is the only thing Laura Wright can play. And not very effectively.

I'd never want Tamara Braun back as Carly, but Laura Wright isn't doing it for me. I think the best thing for the character at this point is death or once-a-month/once-a-week appearances.

The problem is the writing. This is who they want Carly to be. They could put Sarah brown (please, god, no) back in the role or hite the most talented actress' in that age range to play Carly and this is who she would be. It is the exact same situation as Y&R's Victoria. They turned her into something that isnt at all in line with the character, and people blame the actress. It isnt. sure AH sucks, but would Heather Tom back in the role change anything? No.

Based on Maurice's comment, the Falconeri cousins are sure to go. Kate may still stand a chance appearing once a month as Maxie's boss since she's out of Sonny's orbit anyway and she's not on contract. Olivia will surely go. Claire will get thrown under the bus and Sam's in danger. Those are the 4 obvious choices. Im sure Guza will not disapoint in going after more...

I bet that within 6 months of brendas return she will be running Crimson.

But i am fine with all the cheap replacements going. Claire is already being positioned to be written out, Olivia may escape it, and sadly Sam will still be here. ugh. I love kelly monaco, but sam has got to GTFO.

Even when Carly, Courtney, Jason, and Sonny..,took over the show, she made it bearable. When I would watch with my Grandma, may she RIP, she would always say "She may be white, but there is a sista in there"

I agree. She was not only the best recast, but she was the best carly IMHO. SB had fantastic writing, but there is a reason she has sucked in every role since carly, and thats her acting and lack of likability, IMHO. She was hated on ATWT, pretty damn hated in her return to GH, and doesnt seem to be all that loved over on B&B now.

Braun was a very green actress at first, but she found her footing and grew leaps and bounds. By the time she was paired with King she was amazing. I am glad she left tho.

Rememebr when Rex went into the 60s a few years ago on OLTL? It seems the character made its way to GH and disrtrupted the space time continuum. GH is the current mess it is today bc Rex's time travel has altered the history and path of the show....lol

But someone who was a better actress would have, all the women that year danced circles around VM in the acting department.

My hate for Brenda may make it seem that I'm biased, but VM was God awful during her last return.
