Billy Miller has ruined so many important scenes, especially with the Colleen story, no wonder they can only write in his extremely limited range.

The minute a character is not reeling off "witty" one liners or being propped despite being a psycho they're bashed for being "boring".

Years of moral relativism & plot dependent writing has ruined any character that isn't a sociopath or sociopath waiting to happen.

I dont know about that. I think JMB has had chem with her costars, just not sexual chem, just like KMC. And i wouldnt say she has never been a popular pairing. Her and Logan and her and Johnny were very popular, and her and Dante seem to be generally liked. I dont think you can look at failing ratings to say otherwise.

They ditched the stories with Logan and with Johnny after a fairly short period of time. And Lulu/Dante are becoming increasingly unpopular on various boards (like TWOP or Daytime Confidential), with ratings also falling.

She just does not click with men, or much of anyone, if you ask me. If she had more scenes with her family besides smugging over them she might work there, but after those awful scenes where she confronted Liz about the affair with Nik, even that has its limits.

As for Johnny i feel like they were together for a very long time and only reason are apart now is becayse they broguht on Dom.

Well, not really. because they really wrote Logan into Scottys son because of the actor in the role. Besides, they had new toy Johnny.

I actually think you are giving GH too much credit. I dont think they are smart enough to bring brook back in ashitty story to prop lulu/dom.

She has been, i think. But i dont get why. Ive never seen her billed as some great actress,a side from when she actually acted in the 70's and early 80's.

She has been by that insane fanbase of her's and by DAYS especially in the 90's.

I do think she gave up trying to act when she returned to DAYS in '91 though, she wasn't as outrageously bad in the 70's and 80's stuff I've seen of her.

Really? Most of her fan base i have come across freely admits she isnt the best, but there are def some crazies. I like her, i think shes a solid soap actress when she tries but is also why daytime is mocked (see susan lucci for a great example).

Kristen Storms in all of her squeaky-voiced bad acting glory...also Tuc Watkins is not worth the constant praise, nor does his returns add anything to the canvas, not to mention..he really isn't that funny.

Oh and Vanessa Marcil...hands down.

I have to disagree with the mention of Martha Byrne. There's a reason she was the first actress from ATWT to win a Lead Actress Emmy. She created two distinct characters , stood toe-to-toe with hammy ad-libbers (EH) and successfully made the transition from great child performer to powerhouse heroine. Love her.
