Eden Riegel, Darius McCrary seem like the most obvious choices. I thought the actress playing Maya was fitting in well. She hasn't been given much to do and you know they never intended to.

I doubt they ever planned anything for Darius.

Eden is a good guess. They only cast her because she was once an ABC star, not for any other apparent reason.

I also wonder if this may refer to Stephen Nichols. I have not seen any mass positive reception for his Tucker.

When not making off-screen sandwiches with Malcolm, the wiriting is just so inconsistent and choppy. I don't say that Nicholls is cutting it but the writing is really terrible for him or anyone else in that role.

Y&R hasn't made a good casting choice since they brought Tricia Cast back on a semi-regular basis last spring.

I took it as a recast where they outed the previous actor.

Because Matthew is not strong enough to anchor the teen set.

Doesn't seem like it could be Heather or Michael. As far as I can tell neither or them have intended love interests yet. I think it's Maya or Damon. If I had to guess I'd say it's Maya.

Assuming it's Maya, it's funny how TPTB are so slow to move when something isn't working out...unless of course it involves getting rid of an african-american actor/actress. Then they jump the gun. I don't think Guza was ever interested in revisiting the Wards.

I don't think he cared about revisiting the Quartermaines period. I got a good laugh when I saw SOD and their "hot 25 trends," one of them being the Quartermaines being revitalized. Yeah, nothing says revitalized like minor characters who have nothing to do and little to say, and disappear for weeks at a time. The only one I laughed at more was when they tried to claim gay characters were a trend.

So true. Instead of having an intended love interest, why not shop her around and see who she clicks with? Not everyone shines with the first person they are tried out with. I hate it when soaps put the cart before the horse in respect to pairings.

GH really needs to bring Ned back. The Q's need some middle aged members desperately. They can't keep playing out the same tired dynamic between Edward/Monica/Tracy/Young contrived Q X. It's been done to death. Ned/AJ/Emily are needed if they are every going to revitalize that family or at the very least an adult version of Dillon and Brooklynn.

I really could kinda see it being one of the Y&R hires. What if they do get a big actress for Simone....would they wanna waste their big two week story on Darius? But they'd also had to admit defeat which is hard for these ego-maniacs.
