April 23, 201015 yr Member I love you, FrenchFan The most unending drudge ever! It almost made the Reliquary seem appealing by contrast I love you too Mark
April 24, 201015 yr Member I mean, look at this Lauren/Sarah nonsense, which started out as Daniel's art story and then turned into a Deacon and Amber story... Don't forget Victoria. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE.
April 25, 201015 yr Member Yeah, but Houghton got fired during the LML era, and I think there must be some bad blood. Because Houghton's trial on B&B didn't last long AT ALL. How long? Maybe 6 weeks. So, I think it was just not comfortable to bring him back. Plus, there are sort of "pairs". Kerwin and McGillin didn't last long enough in the role of Greg to count. So then, really, you had two eras of Snapper-Greg. Espy-Houghton Hasselhoff-Hauser If you're going to bring on the one, you oughta bring on the other. Hasselhoff and Houghton never did a scene together...so they wouldn't have been able to invoke any kind of old brotherly chemistry. Of course, NONE of 'em ever had scenes with Walton. Your'e right... of course. It WOULD seem wonky to see Houghton and Hasselfhoff together... but correct me if I'm wrong, I thought Espy left first? Wasn't there a few months where we had Houghton/Hasselhoff? i'm gonna have to check that, my memory is not good enough, but i'm thinking fall 75/ spring 76. But realistically, I remember reading ... and i'm fairly sure of this... that Espy has retired, and is now a farmer. When he returned before, those scenes were shot in January... a time when a farmer can take time off to do such outside activities. But in this case, no farmer can take off 4-8 weeks in MAY, it's just not possible. Was it Carl that said Espy was more sensual? that's EXACTLY what I liked about him! Brooding, sensual, complex. Hasselhoff just seemed like a shallow, dumb jock type. All the women drool over him, but you also got the feeling he'd just pull out a 4 inch penis and NOT know how to use it. He's all show, all gloss, and no meat and potatoes. Edited April 25, 201015 yr by alphanguy74
April 25, 201015 yr Member Please don't ever talk about The Hoff's penis ever again, I am scarred for life Espy seemed very sensual to me on AW, especially that voice. He was so different from Mac, yet also very strong. You could see why he was the only other viable love interest Vicky Wyndham's Rachel ever had.
April 25, 201015 yr Member Please don't ever talk about The Hoff's penis ever again, I am scarred for life Does he have one? But really... Espy's portrayal of Snapper had the same qualities that his "Mitch" did on AW. Edited April 25, 201015 yr by alphanguy74
April 25, 201015 yr Member Given Y&R's penchant for stunt casting I'm surprised they haven't cast Cat Hickland as Snapper's love interest.
April 26, 201015 yr Member Given Y&R's penchant for stunt casting I'm surprised they haven't cast Cat Hickland as Snapper's love interest. Enter Cris Brooks Foster #3. Watch it happen now.
April 26, 201015 yr Member Re the Chris/Snapper furniture story. Was this about the time that Hasselhoff had time off to do some primetime pilots?iIremember some hype that he was cast in a nightime TV version of the Burt Reynolds movie 'Semi - Tough'. I maybe right off base with this, but I have the feeling that Snapper wasn't around much and this story was a fill-in that didn't play much.
April 26, 201015 yr Member In other news: Malcolm takes one look at the Hoff and remarks, "Sweet Jebus, we's gonna need mo' samiches!"
April 26, 201015 yr Member Please don't ever talk about The Hoff's penis ever again, I am scarred for life This is our alphanguy you're talking 'bout, LOL. That's like asking a fish not to swim! His beefacke photos are just all KINDS of disturbing: OMG -- where do you get this stuff? Enter Cris Brooks Foster #3. Watch it happen now. Nah...Julia Barr. Or Genie Francis. Or someone else from ABC. Re the Chris/Snapper furniture story. I knew NOTHING behind-the-scenes in those days, so you could be right. I have this memory of a never-ending story that ate-the-show...but that may just have been my intolerant teen self, LOL
