April 16, 201015 yr Member Angie doesn't have a brother named Ted does she? I don't ever remember a brother being mentioned. Please don't tell me this is another plot device like Miguel and Damon?
April 16, 201015 yr Member No, just looked at SoapCentral's profile for Angie and there are no siblings listed.
April 16, 201015 yr Author Member Yeah I saw that, I wasn't sure if that was correct or not. It gives Angie & Jesse a story I guess :/
April 16, 201015 yr Member Teddy could've been mentioned in a script back in the day as an obscure reference. Natalie once had a throw away line about her sister, Janet. If you walked away, you missed it. Was Angie an only child, then?
April 16, 201015 yr Member It's a plot device, intermixed with a little whitewashing, peppered with some propping, written by hacks.
April 16, 201015 yr Member Too many long lost relatives at once (to be expected with Kriezman), but would they really bring on another black actor? Thats interesting to me!
April 16, 201015 yr Member Too many long lost relatives at once (to be expected with Kriezman), but would they really bring on another black actor? Thats interesting to me! That's the head-scratcher. Another middle-aged blactor at that. This whole thing reminds me of the hitherto unmentioned mentally issued brothers of Julia and Suzanne on Designing Women (Clayton) and Blanche on The Golden Palace (Tad). Also, if I heard correctly, Angie said she and Ted had different fathers and Ted's father was horrible (hence Jesse's line that Les was no saint either). Perhaps what I find hardest to swallow is the idea that Pat wouldn't have this child living under her roof instead of with his awful father, but I guess she culdn't handle him? Maybe Les had something to do with it. Actually, wasn't there a line about Ted being sent away or something? And just to be very clear, Angie did say that he was her older brother right? If not, that only adds intrigue to Pat's story. Oy, retcon madness, why do I even bother.
April 16, 201015 yr Member LOL, exactly! Though I guess he'd have a different last name if Les wasn't his dad.
April 16, 201015 yr Member LOL, exactly! Though I guess he'd have a different last name if Les wasn't his dad. And that's probably the ONLY reason he isn't...
April 16, 201015 yr Member Illegitimate kids, unheard of relatives, and rectons must give Lorraine Broderick an orgasm or something.
April 16, 201015 yr Member Too many long lost relatives at once (to be expected with Kriezman), but would they really bring on another black actor? Thats interesting to me! Me too. AMC is the only hope.
April 17, 201015 yr Author Member Illegitimate kids, unheard of relatives, and rectons must give Lorraine Broderick an orgasm or something. LOL, I guess so
April 17, 201015 yr Member Illegitimate kids, unheard of relatives, and rectons must give Lorraine Broderick an orgasm or something. Yes, cuz they're unheard of in soap opera... Edited April 17, 201015 yr by EricMontreal22
April 17, 201015 yr Member Yes, cuz they're unheard of in soap opera... So because these cheap ass tactics aren't unheard of, they should be used all the time? Making Damon Tad's kid just so Tad could have a reason to take him in and try and steer him on the right path was completely unnessesary IMO. They could have just used the"Damon reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger" angle. Giving Angie a brother we've never heard of until now just so she would wanna help Damon too was also unessesary, as was giving Adam another bastard kid just so Annie would end up being JR's bone marrow donor.
