It was another great episode, imo (I was having computer problems on Thursday, but that was a great one, too)!

I love how Colby has become what you would expect from Adam & Liza's daughter. The character was so poorly defined in the past (annoying teen brat, then saintly teen) and it makes sense for her to be conniving and obsessed with keeping her family together.

JR & Annie's interview was fantastic. I loved how she was expecting him to go off on her and he surprised her with his kindness, even if it is just an act.

Greenlee's photo shoot at the casino feels rushed since she just hired the model. I have no problem with Natalia turning to Ryan to find David since Jesse's been Ryan's (and Zach's) bitch for the last couple of years. I loved the cliffhanger with Ryan rushing in behind Greenlee.

I'm a longtime Jack & Erica fan and for me, this doesn't get old because their story never properly played out. The last time around, Greenlee wasn't as big an issue for them as she should have been. Throwing them into flirtations with Jeff & Barbara was just dumb and skirted around the real issues in their marriage. If they get back together, and start dealing with their problems with each other's children and then break up over that, it would bring closure. But I really just want them back together. It's time Erica settled down and Jack imo is the best man for her to do that with (I know I'm in the minority, but I always preferred them over Erica/Dimitri).

I also loved the Jake/Jack scenes. I've been finding Jake & Amanda more tolerable lately. I think it's partly because she's joking with him now and not just listening to his lame one-liners.

Apparently she's not stupid after all. It makes perfect sense for an undercover cop who is trying to get information on a case to not only blow her cover over a hunch, but to also involve a civilian prone to vigilante justice -- instead of relaying this information to her superior. What if this turned out to be all for naught and she still needed the cover?

I mean, damn! General Hospital hates and vilifies cops, yet they at least told a less insulting undercover cop story. This story has been incredibly sloppy.

I couldn't have said it better, Steve. I am hoping this is what we will see this time, them dealing with these two emotionally imature children (and they are adults but act like they are 15)and stop allowing them to come between them. I always felt that Jack was Erica's "THE ONE" and I still do. Hopefully TPTB feel the same.

I never got them either. I never liked him at all and I never thought they had any chemistry. I know we're the minority.

I quit AMC about a year plus ago, when Pratt really ruined the show and it's characters for me. There was nothing left to watch and even Erica was a stranger to me. I came back for 3 reasons.

1. Pratt was fired and Lorraine Broderick came back on board. She was one of my all time favorite writers on AMC and I knew she'd breathe life back into the show and she already has in her short time back.

2. Jackson's return and the chance of seeing Jerica again  I'm sorry you guys don't like them or him or whatever, but I think they are rip roaring HOT and they always hold my attention.

3. To see Brooke and Adam go at it one more time. I am not a Brooke fan, never was, unless she was paired with Adam. Once he leaves  I want her to go with him, but when he returns from time to time, than she can too. I like them as a couple a lot.

So far I'm getting what I wanted to see. I'm not sure the new writers will continue what LB has started but if AMC were smart, they'd let her make some decisions and do the actual writing for the vets she wrote for years ago.

Yeah, man. It was going on the website Brooke created! How can you forget the website?! You know, the website? As in the only other remotely interesting thing Brooke's done in the month and a half she's been back. Instead of running Tempo magazine... she's been creating makeshift websites. Instead of the cutting edge, investigative journalism that's brought her all around the globe... she's, well, been flushing booze down the toilet.

I am so glad to see the BJ's set, it is such a breath of fresh air to see people hanging out somewhere else for once. I think it is so funny how everyone goes there now all of a sudden though, LoL. When Colby called Liza...and Liza told Colby to meet her at BJ's, LOL usually the place would always be ConFusion. And wow, when Colby and Liza were sitting at that table, that mirror behind Liza was SO distracting! I was just looking at that the whole time, because I thought I would see the camera, or some kind of mistake. The directors must have to be extra careful with that...

I liked today's episode, I think JR and Annie are great. JR is playing Annie, but I loved the interview scene where he was being all nice to her. He was very believable, or was he really telling the truth? Colby is being super immature, she is jeopardizing her own mother's career, just to stick it to Annie. Not cool. Great ending though, with Adam being served.

All Madison and Randi do is walk around with notebooks in their hands, acting like they are actually doing work, LOL! Natalia revealing that she was undercover...I would have been more upset if she hadn't actually done her job; but she did get enough info on David, so I don't think it really mattered if she told or not. But did she have to tell Ryan?! She had to have known that he would totally ignore what she said to do (Which was to go tell Jessie that she heard Greenlee talking to David, and mention the name Liza), and go to Liza's home instead!

Let me put it like this. Greenlee doesn't trust Natalia. Natalia knows Greenlee doesn't trust her. Why would she believe Greenlee was being 100% on the up and up and NOT trying to feed her false information to try and do exactly what Natalia did -- which was air her out as being undercover? Serious undercover cops need a lot more of a reason to expose their identity to civilians than a one-sided phone call they weren't able to completely hear in a crowded casino, because serious undercover cops' lives are at risk if they are exposed.

If Natalia gets promoted to Detective over this shoddy joke of an undercover operation, it'll be 100% proof positive that Pine Valley deserves every last bit of crime it gets... because the law enforcement in this town is run by a bunch of ignorant imbeciles.

And while I'm throwing shade, Lorraine Broderick... shame on you. This week, every one step forward (Liza & Tad), you took two steps backward (Brooke's still- crappy return; Duhtalia Foul-up) .
